I think this map could be MLG quality, hopefully it is polished and competitive. I'll download it tommorow because it's really late right now, g' night.
very nice looking. you could always polish it more and release a v1.2 or whatever you call it. It looks playable, but I guess I should test it first to see. Also, "MLG arena" is probably also the name of 10 other maps (just saying). I like the central structure and the one next to B-base.
Thanks guys. Don't get too comfortable with the A-Sniper Tower though. I want to make a better looking one in the future and touch up on a few spots. I'm still testing though with no major problems found yet. I named it MLG Arena because I haven't seen that name used yet unlike "The Arena" which is constantly used.
looks cool nice merges and placement but it seems a little basic for MLG but not bad for your first post.
doesnt really look like a mlg map and doesnt look like it could replace those maps... but it looks alright for just a map... eh.
i specialize in MLG maps. and all i can say is this can be improved. i dont like the sniper tower. but the middle structure looks good. also MLG dont use shield doors. dont ask why. but overall it could look a bit better if the boxes are upside down. the stairs in picture three look awkward and you would probably have to jump to get over it.
shield doors need to be taken out, people will camp way too much or be able to get away too easily. other than that, great map
There's your problem. LOOK. You don't download it and actually get a game going. I'm not looking for downloads, just people that judge solely on the pictures are stupid. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Probably hear it a lot but one more time won't hurt.
Double Boxes could be flipped to make it smooth and the stairs that interlock could be smoother if you interlock a box at the top of the stairs. A picture says a thousand words!
This really isn't an mlg map for a lot of reasons: -SMG is not an mlg weapon -2 snipers and a rocket launcher on a symetrical and open MLG map is excessive -Equipment (especially regens) are not MLG -Shield doors are not MLG -Fusion coils are not MLG -Objects like trucks and forklifts and crates that aren't secured and can bounce around are not MLG - Plus it looks like you took some of this from Amplified (those two mini house structures made of walls) I'm not saying its bad because I haven't played it, but its not MLG at all.
This map looks like gameplay would run nicely on it. Right now, it isn't "polished" enough to be considered MLG though. I really think that if you do tweak a little bit with the neatness, it could very well be a MLG map.
You obviously didn't read the other post of why I named it that. Not appropriate? So I'm not allowed to name my maps whatever I want? That totally makes sense.
Well its completely misleading and all you're doing then is just whoring the name to get more downloads.
nice ideas. it looks great, but the lack of interlocking in some spots, and the boxes not being overturned make it look a little sloppy. but it looks nice to play on
