    Forgehub,

    Legacy

    Legacy 1.1

    Legacy 1.1 FFA

This is a map that I have been working on for some time and it has gone through many significant revisions. I have drawn inspirations from Bungie, from within the community and from oldschool fps maps.

My goal was to build a stylish looking competitive team map with its own character that has great opportunities for team shooting with an appropriate ratio of cover at each power position. I also wanted some degree of seperation in the map to lose that "too open" feel that many foundry maps have.

Legacy's Power positions have cover from some but not all areas of the map. My intention is that it will be difficult to camp anywhere and it will be BR skill that determines control of the map.

    Gameroom video

    6 Battle Rifles 010s 2 Spare clips
    2 Carbines 090s 2 Spare Clips
    1 Mauler 120s 1 Spare Clip
    1 Sniper Rifle 150s 1 Spare Clip

    4 Frag grenades 030s
    6 Stky Grenades 030s

Snipe And Mauler Spawn at the bottom of the side towers, in front of the danger signs.

Legacy is setup for all gametypes.
CTF works best with Onslaught Settings.
Hill is at middle, then Snipe2, then Mauler2. Repeat.

I hope you enjoy the map, I'm open to feedback.

So far I am liking what I am seeing. Your pics are giving me, so far, a good impression. But, really I would appreciate it if you added more pictures. There just doesn't sem to be enoguh shown for me to get a strong grasp of waht your map is all about. Otherwise, this is a great post and the map looks as a whole quite enjoyable for MLG based games..... yay!

Really well done on the structure of the map. Its really hard to accomplish what you did with this map, giving a duck and cover feel to it.

looks superb except where it reads "sniper and mauler in front of the danger signs" are they the signs on the pipeline of foundry? or have you cleverly created signs?

Another very cool map. I don't think I've played on the newer version, so consider it DL'd. Great video, by the way.

    Thanks for replying everyone.

The snipe and mauler are in front of the existing danger signs on the map, I know its cheesy but it really was the best place for them!

    @Brutecaptain:
Please watch the video to get a better look at the map!

This is even more impressive than your last map, Reverence, and that my friend is saying something. Again, i expect great gameplay and Aesthetics for your next map!

    Happy Forging!

Wow, very well put together. DLing now. I'm glad there are some good competitive MLG style maps on here. This seems very playable and balanced.
