nah Staten said they extended season one push season two to six months and season three to nine months and stated forge will still launch with the season three update
A few years ago you would be arguing the same thing about going back to the MCC and fixing all of the broken crap, updating the game, adding maps ect . . . It's nothing crazier than what's already been done. It's just more QOL stuff. Sure on PC but until they actually get serious about modding on the console it'll stay in the pipe infinitely. As much as II want to play halo SPV3 on console I don't think it'll be happening any time soon. Even if 343 does open it up, I'm not sure they'd allow it to be modded enough to have a Forge-esque editor on there. Not unless modders created it on PC and then got 343 to test and upload it to console.
I've been thinking about reworking some of my old maps into newer engines with more powerful tools. Specifically, a map called Iba tower which I recently discovered is still downloadable on my file share (through a file share website some cool people made) There was also a map I made ideal for SWAT but worked just fine for FFA. With a killball as an intentional 1-way shield in the center room to make that room have some cool uniqueness. I remember that map having poor framerates back then in certain angles... I have no idea (right now) if Infinte will have a forge mode. Heres to hoping they add one.

Hello again! Last time I showed up here which feels like ages to me I failed an invasion map but, after many scrapped ideas, I have a thought that might make it to the cut and would be my best map made. Alien: Dread... Hunted, Haunted, Horrified, you are trapped with a small group of survivors on board the Sevastopol on the chase from the perfect organism [The Alien]. Run. Hide. Evacuate. Survive. Down below is a presentation of the tone and style of the map that I hope to god the object limit won't ruin. The map gets darker and darker with time and this being the darkest it gets: make sure to collect some grenades for temporary light! Base game (what would usually be seen by console and base pc players) Reshade installed (what is possible the Reshade graphical mod for pc) And that's all! You'll be able to find this map in my file share when it is complete. might try to mod it too but I want it to be accessible to everyone ._.
just gonna show some progress since it's been a few days since last post with how the lighting's gonna get progressively darker as the game goes on for both vanilla and reshade. For this, I've used the purple, juicy, orange and green special fx in order. Vanilla: Reshade:

Well it has been a while. I think long ago I looked here and was really ever apart of this communtiy to download new maps to test with my communities. I would host events called Forge Fridays where I would download the top ten maps of the week and play them, they were so popular I had to split the groups into two. The ease of that died with the new Halowaypoint and absent UGC browser, I know the HalodotAPI staff and primarily Zeny put out a work around for it but the connection severed here killed my motivation for a "Forge Friday" custom game night. Even more so now with Halo Infinite not having any forge. Now I'm bringing up a new site to see and test these connections with the Halo Infinite API to see if I can make my own unofficial Spartan Company structure and also create what Waypoint no longer has. This demo isn't finished but is live and I've been quietly working on it since the beginning of this month. DM if you're interested in checking out what I have so far!

I hope 343 were paying attention to Epics Unreal LYRA demo. This is is the kind of **** we want to see in Forge. It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be the goal. . We want more than just enhanced Lego set with lighting capabilities this time around. I'm so tired of putting a dozen pieces together to make a flat wall that doesn't clip through other areas. If we keep getting the same old same old and if they ever make LYRA available on console and somebody creates a half decent Halo knockoff I swear I may just live there instead.
Hey, it's been a while being on this site and the Halo Waypoint. Way too much has changed and I don't know how to do anything anymore on these sites. Too complicated and too much content missing. But I finally got around to 99% finishing a map I started working on before Infinite was released and thought I'd share that. Except, I have no idea how to share content anymore and it seems as if Halo 5 has been entirely deleted from WayPoint. If anyone is curious to see my WIP Halo 5 map in it's current state it's called, Project 003.9.1 Not sure what to call the map to be honest, I had a few ideas when I started but not sure I'm stoked on them atm.
