Hello everyone and welcome back to the ForgeHub Community favorites! These past few weeks have been pretty eventful for the Halo community, from HCS Raliegh to the 343 Playdates there has been a lot going on, and of course the holidays! The numbers, when it comes to viewership for the game, have been doing pretty well overall, hopefully we'll enough to keep this momentum going when Forge is out! Now is the time of the month though for a look at more great maps here on Community Favorites! We also have released a new series on the site,, Creators Spotlight, which has had a lot of feedback and praise from the community, I'll talk about that more at the end of the Article. Without further a due, let's jump right into this month's Community Favorites!!
As a reminder, you can check out all these great creations by clicking their screenshot/picture or the yellow text below!

Here are the nominations and community champions for December!

This month, our 3rd place spot this month is Corporate by Squally DaBeanz, this map is set inside the headquarters of a company called Phoenix Global, with inspirations taken from Cyberpunk 2077 this map has a very unique artistic look to it that makes it really stand out in the map pool today, it's a small Symmetric map that is in a rough bookerang shape with bases on both ends, with a exterior Catwalk that takes you outside of the headquarters to see the skyline in the distance. It's a 4v4 map that supports 6-8 players total, and supports the Slayer, Capture the Flag, and Strongholds gametypes. Be sure to check this one out for yourself!

Second place this month was Undercut by ChanelWitDaBoof (Its 1204)! This map is a map built back in MCC for Halo 3, it's a doubles map built on Foundry with a pretty unique layout, even uses some teleporters to mess with geometry playstyles too! It has only 1 Sniper and 1 Mangler as power weapons and a small assortment of other weapons. Be sure to give this map a try next time you have a doubles lobby going in Halo 3!

Finally, for our 1st place spot, we have Bastion by Squally DaBeanz! Bastion is a Symmetrical classic forerunner style 4v4 map that supports Slayer, Capture the Flag, Strongholds, Assault, and Oddball. The map plays extremely well and has a lovely skybox and atmosphere within the map really selling this map as a location rather than just a playspace. On top of that there are some familiar lifts, aestetics, and other antiquities of forerunner design on the map for the player to explore and battle within. Be sure to give this map a playtest in your next Custom game lobby!

Congratulations to everyone who placed this month and if you didn’t, well, I can’t wait for all of your fantastic entries next month! All these amazing creations really show how powerful and creative of a community we have even in a dry spell. While we've been enjoying our holidays with loved ones and been enjoying ourselves in our gaming lives, we have also been gifted a brand new year of opportunity within the community, this year is going to bring us the return of our favorite mode within Halo, Forge; with this grand return will hopefully usher in the Renaissance that Halo Infinite direly needs at the moment, the lack of content is arguably worse than Halo 5's lackluster launch offerings, and while recent updates have alleviated issues with playlists and event progression, it still hasn't helped the perceived content drought. Hopefully Halo Infinite will be receiving a mid season update similar to how Call of Duty and other Live Service games in the Modern Gaming landscape do. However on a more positive note, we here at ForgeHub wanted to thank everyone who still comes to the site and not only supports us, but the Forging community as a whole. Whether you're a competitive or casual Halo fan, or you just want to look at other UGC game content we all appreciate you immensely and the support you give to us and the site. Nothing shows that more than the recent series we started, Creators Spotlight, a loveletter to the community we've all built over the years and a absolute blast to work on, not only with the team but the community members we get to introduce to you as well. Creators Spotlight may have been a passion project of mine but the community has seemingly welcomed it with open arms, which really makes is all of yours in the long run. We are going to attempt to get 1 Creators Spotlight up a month along side the Community Favorites articles/videos we've been posting. Please if you have any feedback or have any suggestions for Creators to be featured please put those in the comments below and we'll see what we can do! The next Creators Spotlight will be one of our "Popular" Content/Forge Creators that a lot of you probably know, so there will be a difference in questions and tone of the video. Hopefully you will all enjoy when we get that out to you! Thank you for reading this edition of Community Favorites and we'll see you starside Spartans!
