With halo infinite being delayed, I will be working on a couple longer projects over the next few months. With these, I will spend longer than I have ever before, to get the most polished, clean maps possible. This is one of them, an upcoming infection map "Medusa". Medusa will be set in an abandoned construction site, during an apocalypse, more specifically, a flood apocalypse. But it will also have some unique twists and even a sort of story behind it. My goal with medusa is to make as detailed and gritty of a map as possible within halo 5, that still plays well. It will be ready for testing in about a week or two, but I will not publish this one until it reaches it's full potential. In the past, I have focused on many different ideas, but not spent enough time on most of them individually. with these last few months to possibly a year or more before Halo Infinite, I am focusing on more detailed, polished maps, while I have the time.
First time making a map and I have almost no idea what I'm doing. Being able to phase objects in Halo 3's forge is amazing though.
Did you just rejoin the server? You have to react to the welcome message to join the rest of the server.
@SaltyKoala are you doing something for Forge The Fight? This way I know if I’ll be in 34th or 35th place. Just another map to beat me out of the contest lol.
Nah, H3 forge is challenging In all the wrong ways. I've been pushing Halo 5 forge further then I ever have. I'm currently working on a map that's gonna absolutely ascend. It's a predecessor to the map below.
