Oh another irritation with Reach's Forgeworld is that they either bumped my entire map down by an eighth or the water up by an eighth. Either way my map now has water going across the top of its lowest level which means I either ignore it and pray for an update or I raise the entire map.
Gotta love these servers... Can't even stay in a Halo 5 forge map for more than a minute. And it's definitely not my internet cause everything else I've tried works.
If you're playing reach with a 4K screen I highly recommend fussing with the HDR settings. It can make a more dramatic difference then I would have initially expected. I found the maps in Reach to be a little bland and bright with the global lighting pretty much overshadowing the level lighting. I did some fine-tuning on the HDR settings with the focus on darkening the level while making the lights and colours more vibrant and suddenly the levels didn't feel so dated and bland. I especially liked solidarity once it started to feel dark, and the now enhanced blues really doubled down on that cold icy feel. As much as it pisses me off how they've dealt with the custom maps the game itself has never looked this good. I would love it if they did a little more fine-tuning on the lighting and colours but overall it's pretty awesome to be able to play Reach like this. I doubt there is anyone here that has seen Forge customs on 4 player split but if you have please let me know if they've improved any of the graphical reductions they made to make it run smoothly on the old 360. Graphic quality took a massive dive once you went 4 player split on the old system. Texture draw distances were the most obvious visual that was reduced for better frame rates.
"Lost In Japan" Felt like making something aesthetically pleasing. But sadly it isn't possible to turn this into an actual map due to frame rate problems and object limits. This little section took about 400 objects.
Are those bushes or trees that are used for the leaves? I'm sure that there's at least some way to lower framerate without completely destroying the aesthetic (only mostly )
They be trees. So idk if you can see it but between the first and last lanterns on each side is about 12 trees and 24 kelps for the fence line and 64 cables. And in the front there is about half the amount of one side.
Does anyone know that one mlg game on H3 construct where that one team was set up on the top just waiting for them to challenge, one of them had rockets and was sitting where the sword usually spawns keeping an eye on both purple lifts, just t bagging over and over impatiently waiting for them to make a move. And than the invis guy snuck up behind him and back smacked him... ? I spend an hour looking around on ytube and couldn't find it
It was either 2009 or 2010 and I know it involved a team pistola was on. So Triggers Down in 2009 and Final Boss in 2010. Should be somewhere in there.
well it would be whenever they added camo to slayer on construct. It would have been that 2009 or 10 don't remember which season it was introduced.
I just got attack on titant 2 the game for my wife kierstyn for christmas, ever since i got her into naruto shes become a mainstream anime fan, she even reads the manga online when she runs out of episode to watch XD shes so cute when she plays like shes living out her little titan slaying fantacy lol
Been working on this for a little while in my free time. With the Mythic being released a couple days ago, finally got to release it! https://twitter.com/BlazeDillon/status/1203396329856282624?s=20 Thanks to any of you guys who jumped in during tests!
I've never really gotten into the killshot montage. Don't get me wrong I like a good kill shot and I don't mind watching a couple but when it's back to back to back to back to back gets a little overwhelming for me. You can say it's cuz I'm old but I don't know if I ever would have really felt that way. A good hunt is far more entertaining to me then a kill shot. I also typically wouldn't watch porn just for the O shot. Again, a couple good ones sure but back to back to back to back to back to back to back . . .meh Anyway, the video is well done.
Yeah, just going to reiterate how stupid this is. I literally downloaded 1 of the Reach maps I had put in my fileshare, and when I got to number 2 I was greeted with a message saying that my local storage space is full (apparently I must have 49 H2A maps saved). LMAO! The file limit NEEDS to be more than 50. I don't recall seeing anything about it in any of the updates (I certainly could have missed it), but hopefully there's a plan to increase it to at least 100 - should really be like 500.
Yeah, I'm really not sure what the thinking here was. I was never too much affected before now because I had already lost interest in making maps in Halo 4 and Halo 2 and I wasn't interested in going back to Halo 3 and remaking maps from there. Well I mean outside of some basic weapons spawn and portal stuff. Reach is where most of my maps lie and it's sad that I can't even download all of my Reach maps let alone the rest of the collection. Considering that every game that had a forge attached to it had at least a thousand local slots, if they were limited at all, it seems rather ridiculous not to have at least 1000 slots available for the collection. I'm honestly not even sure why it's a collective number instead of an individual number. It's not like the different iterations of Forge are even compatible. Hopefully we get some news about this soon, as it currently stands I can only really play MCC Reach for the campaign. I don't have the same customs limitations if I just load up my digital 360 copy of Reach on the One X.
