Bags and Guts @II SEGA USA II We played your map last night. We all agreed that the bottom could use more hard routes out. I would also suggest the spacing being a little tighter on the bottom between the middle and the bases. Doing this will help players spawning bottom get to their teammate faster and give them more options to make a play.
You're right. I am a big proponent of individualism with designs too, I've seen the same conformity concerns you have around here. And I also agree surface level impressions can't speak to the depth. It's probably why I've never posted a map here. But I was lazy and didn't want to take the time to download anything and boot up Halo to dig into it. I jumped on a first impression without taking in the context, @II SEGA USA II doesn't usually end up with a box for a final product.
Wow, that refreshing to see a Tyrant post that wasnt ass. @MythicFritz I dont think the point of his post was to criticize creators that follow trends or ‘conform’, it was to criticize the method that people use to give feedback. By telling someone how to improve something, you are essentially forcing your philosophy onto them, as you are presumably the more knowlegable/experienced person. Its more ideal that they find their own solutions. I agree with the sentiment. You feedback was perfectly reasonable, though. Experimenting with overall shape could make it more interesting. The guts look pretty good tho.
nextleveldesign.org Hope you join so I can read the **** talk/design discussion between u and multi again.
Sorry, I would rather speak ass and sneak **** pass people because of my preference to be underestimated or not estimated at all. Which is really easy in this community because most of the halo community have the memory of fish. So even if I say something that's good I can quickly say a bunch of stupid **** and people will forget whatever influence I may have had with that good thing I said. Only community I have ever been apart of where you debate something and 2 pages into the debate rather than saying you were right about the initial argument they will forget that was the argument and try to say they weren't saying that or assume you mean something other than what you actually mean because they don't want to admit to the possibility that something they don't like had a positive effect on something they do like or that their grasp on the subject they think they understand is more shallow than they thought. rant is rant
