Alright... Initialy i was just prototyping that map for unity, but now i want to art it up and flesh it out so i can compete with xandriths salty and martians maps, you guys better BRING IT
I'd love to hear the thoughts about certain map designs Halo has been known for. Explain why you like/dislike the following: 4-Way Syms - Wizard, Warlock, Foundation Box Canyons - Blood Gulch, Battle Creek, Valhalla Bridgeworks - Lockout, Guardian, Uncaged Two Bases, Two Towers - Midship, Assembly, Zealot Segmented - Chill Out, Ivory Tower, Ghost Town Top Heavy - Damnation, Colossus, Construct
I was trolling you. End of the day each of these “map designs” can accomplish a different gameplay goal while being in the same genre so you may as well be asking our feedback for those particular maps. Chill out and ivory tower are completely different so how can I summarize my opinion for “segmented maps” If I like 1 and hate the other?
4 way syms are dog Box canyons are mega dog Bridge works have been done to death Tb2t has also been done to death Segmented and top heavy maps are fine since there are a wider variety of layout options given the fact that they aren't quite as specific
That's a weird question. How the hell do you compare Blood Gulch and Beaver Creek? Or Damnation and Collossus? I like maps for what they are by themselves, not for what 'category' they fall into.
We compartmentalize everything we perceive to make it easier to understand, but that's not actually how the world works We're in the endgame now
@Yeti For Hire ... hey! Your like of my post put me over the coveted 1.0 Like to Message golden ratio here at forgehub! Yay! I' a *real* boy now! OMG I'm stupid, I see now that I am at least +10 on likes but I misread it visually... oh well. I guess I have some cred to spend on **** posts?
