Welcome back to another series of ForgeHub's Community Favorite Maps! We gathered all of your nominations from last month and put the top ten maps up for a vote. Here are the nominations and winners for the month of December!
We've seen a lot of iterations of alien abduction maps out there but this one is probably the most well put together in both scripting and theme. The aesthetics are on point and really drive the narrative forward during the match. DrDreidelBerg (formerly ExtraSpicyMemes) and Generai PUG did a fantastic job with this custom game mode and we highly recommend you give it a try, its out of this world
After a year and a half of waiting, we finally get a sequel to one of the most underrated and sophisticated custom game modes in Halo 5! Everything gets better with this new iteration, from scripting and weapon drop systems to environment art. Its impressive to note that Julian completely maxed out his scripting budget while making this map, a task that usually prompts Halo to break everything for you, however everything runs perfectly smooth on this map. We recommend reading through the author's original map post so you can get a better understanding of the mode before jumping into gameplay. This is one of the most enjoyable and sophisticated custom game modes in all of Halo 5 so give it a try and let the forger know what you think!
You may recognize this map as it was recently implemented into the Team Doubles playlist along with some other community maps. Its been getting a lot of positive responses and has become a favorite among players. We hope to see the map get placed back into matchmaking for a chance at getting into the ranked version of Doubles. The map has some really interesting power positions that keep players on the lookout. The map's also got a diverse weapon setup featuring rockets bottom mid. We're really impressed with every aspect of the map and congratulate the forgers involved
Well look at that! We've finally caught up on all of our Community Favorite map results. We'll do better at maintaining a consistent release schedule from now on. Tune in next time as we'll be sharing some of the best maps from the new year!
