Largerfiend I dont have an interest in discussing politics with you. Sorry buddy I'd just rather not revisit your politics. Been there done that. One thing I will say is I dont give a **** whether a pedophile is republican or democrat. I'll call a spade a spade.
AKSHUALLY there are also open wounds and phalloplasties. While I'm here - no doubt some aspect of sexuality is hardwired before birth, but what about the rest of the development that takes place later? based on your 'gender identity development' comment, you clearly admit that many aspects of someone's interests and attraction are post-natal. Much of that is not chosen, but the reaction to the initial interaction with stimulation is entirely within the control of the person experiencing it. Children do not have the capacity for complete self-awareness, that's why we didn't show them graphic sex in the West. That used to be a lot easier before the internet. It used to be frowned upon. Now their elders and supposed peers encourage them to 'explore' their sexuality, from younger and younger ages. Nothing is wrong with exploring that aspect of yourself, to be sure - but to young people who most likely have no set goals in their lives, or not nearly enough strength of conviction to look away, this can be infinitely destructive. Some weirdos like feet, for example, or furries, because that is what they have been exposed to and have reinforced themselves through repeat usage. That's how fetishization and addiction works. Why do you think San Francisco is such a gay city? It's because the ideas spread through exposure, reinforcement, and normalization. The foot, the fursuit, the latex, whatever the **** it is. Are you going to say with a straight face that these people are hardwired from birth to be foot people, or furries, or gay, and that they have no choice other than to sniff/yiff in the pursuit of some second-hand immediate-gratification-based identity? If you show a kid feet porn, or furry porn, or gay porn - or any modern pornography - chances are that they will link any chemical arousal experienced from seeing the graphic display of arousal to the ancillary elements in the scene. This even happens with basic advertising. Ad agencies know it works, which is what this whole dumb**** argument was about to begin with. People make associations on perceptual correlation, and if left unchecked by a strong and focused mind, this will become 'the truth' as far as they are concerned. That's not to say it's the only way these kinds of desires can develop - of course someone who feels attraction to a member of the same sex without added or reinforced stimulation might decide to act on that feeling - but to my knowledge that is exceedingly rare, and even less prevalent than the post-social liberation numbers of self-reported homosexuality in the 90s and early '00s. And to that point, any such feelings of attraction before then were most likely experienced only as 'admiration' or 'brotherly love', and not a desire to rut with copious amounts of amphetamines and heroin to dull the pain(al). All of these arguments rely on the bullshit premise that society is the final arbiter of what is right, but that society also takes a backseat to 'nature' - whatever 'nature' really is. Sorry for being hateful about religion, it was uncalled for and certainly not helping the topic at hand. I reacted with emotion on some stupid posts which I shouldn't have and I apologize for that. I've reread the whole discussion and I'm too far away on the spectrum to even consider joining. No, I'm not gay... ...I think.
@no god anywhere i remade ND in unity but it's upgraded ;D Final pass pictures, i'll upload the timelapse soon
I can't be asked to give my full in detail thoughts on all of this but I think it's worth mentioning that you don't have to be homophobic to be a Christian. I use myself as an example.
From everything I've learned and experienced, love is a choice. The butterfly feeling is from our emotions and our emotions are a terrible compass. Choose to take out the trash, choose to vacuum the house, choose to listen, choose to support others with a job, choose to sacrifice for the benefit of those you love.
I don’t hate gays, just think their lifestyle is wrong but I don’t walk around telling them that every chance I get.
I was pretty rude last time lol I think this time I've been reasonably respectful though. But to be fair, you were never forced to respond to any of my comments and I don't think I've been arguing unfairly. that's a good ass comment I think San Francisco is such a gay city because it has historically always been a very progressive city. Honestly, that's the only thing I knew about San Francisco, so I had to do a little digging. Turns our Harvey Milk, an openly gay politician, was elected as a board member and helped establish the Castro District, which acted as a sanctuary district for gay people. (The 70's were a bad time to be gay anywhere else) Shortly after, Harvey Milk was assassinated by a political opponent Dan White. I think the notion that San Francisco is gay because being gay is due to exposure isn't entirely truthful. And to add to the point about drugs, we can see that people who feel like societal outcasts will often turn to a life of drugs. We can see an illicit drug epidemic amongst low-income people and in people in single parent households today. Someone who must move away from their home to find love, and not feel like a degenerate, are going to be prone to drug abuse. I personally don't believe base-line sexual preferences and fetishes are comparable. Loving and showing affection for someone is catering to a different set of physiological needs than having a foot fetish or getting sexually aroused by a fur suit. Although I do agree that social conditioning does play a role in who we determine is a good partner or not. Women and men who are in healthy household relationships often seek out partners that have similar traits to their parents. They know that these traits correlate heavily with the life they desire to have. You stated that it's a bullshit premise that society is the final arbiter of what is right; I disagree entirely with that. But that could be due to me misunderstanding your view on the topic, philosophically. Everything I deem moral or amoral is dictated by me determining if it has long-term net positive effects on society, which I am a member of. It's logical for me to want to improve my situation, and the situation of my children, through indirect influence with structuring society. I called myself christian for 20 years and never felt homophobic. I just implied they were heavily related because the vast ammount of hate crimes are perpetrated by religious people or by people who cite religion as an excuse for their hate. I don't think only christians, or only religious people, act this way.
it's sad knowing this is what this site has come to, ****ing mongoloids and your conformation bias @xzamplez looking back i really missed you guys arguing lol, waaay better than this garbage shout out to soul for posting something worth looking at
