Let me break this down for you. City folk and country folk don't get along in America. They can make up excuses for why they don't, but they'll only get along when they have a common enemy or common goal. And even then it's only a little bit. Today we can't agree on what's wrong anymore. Except maybe Saudi Arabia killing journalists. Probably.
Speaking of, have you guys seen the recent spat of Survive Trumps Wall related custom games in the customs browser? Funniest thing I've seen in a while.
Lightmap is becoming really irritating. I think I may stop soon, but I've made enough progress to get the map playable and looking halfway decent. Spoiler: Pics
Looks great man. Would finish the aesthetic off if you had a scripted tumbleweed roll by in the opening cinematic Curious as to what lightmap issues you're having?
when you literally buy everything they say about your political enemies, just because it fits what you think you already know, of course you will get that impression. I don't think people outside of our nation really understand what has been erected here. The monolithic press conglomerate is that big mega corporation you liberals have always been afraid of. You dissented when they wanted to buy up everything, but now you believe whatever they say. THE MAINSTREAM U.S. PRESS IS NOT REAL NEWS. they may report on some real things, and give you some facts, but thte overall "programming" of the whole set of stories, is contrived and deliberately strategic. Infowars has ALWAYS stood against hatred, bigotry, violence, and is the ONLY reason it has not errupted over the last 10 years. The world has been saved many times over by voices like these that will NOT be silenced. Whey people claim otherwise, they clip many quotes together, misquoe, and mischaracterize comments, without any chance to respond to them. Then people hear this and go, "well, everyone says he said that". Did he? Did they? If you watched infowars for a couple months, you would see the pattern of information that you did not want to accept, come into perfect view. All of the things we just woke up and figured out this year, were things Alex and his crew and many other independent voices hve been trying to push through the WALL of disinfo for decades. It gets through, is accepted as truth eventually, and no one gives credit. I will. I will be one of those voices.
Mainstream American media is fascinating but scary. It's a huge polarizing political biased propaganda machine who's single purpose isn't to inform but to influence, to scare, to divide and to keep people in a certain mindset. The way one and the same topic is completely approached from opposite angles by both sides makes it quite clear how the public is being influenced and divided. Nah everybody's gone. It's over.
We all know Buzzfeed is the greatest and best source for all news. With amazing pieces like "Why do guys look at women?" and articles that say what the author believes, gives some information about what they are talking about and repeats their opinion without correlating the information to prove their point and then say they proved their point. Beautiful journalism.
Nice, respectful response. Thank you. Food for thought for anyone who hates infowars... One of the only videos you can find online for them now... This is what rational, non-violent, non-bigoted discourse looks like. We are divided, but the debate will set us free. Interesting how civil the one side is, while the other just chants things they heard on TV and on some email they got from a foundation earlier in the day... (less than 15min, and all very good up to the end)
I'll give it a watch and then I'm done lol. I really don't want to be in another argument or discussion.
Sorry ,double-post just to add, that I would liken our media to a body that has cancer. When we criticize "fake news" and point the finger at a large portion of the blame at the "machine" you mention, we are correct. The machine is like a cancer inside the healthy process of cells performing their bodily function. That, the "free press" is the cell functionality, and the fact that a corporate gang has taken that body over is like a cancer. People such as myself, Infowars, and the President call out "fake" news, but that is reclaiming a mantra they tried to pin on us. We recycled that term, and now the contention is that we are somehow calling the freedom of the press "fake" or bad in some way. No, we are being very specific, not general, that FAKE news is the enemy, which if you examine what you've just said, is exactly the same thing in different words. WOrds are being twisted once they leave a person's mouth, and then we never go back to read or listen to the real quote, putting too much trust in what someone says, someone said. That is fake, but not press freedom. That is the thing we are trying to get back to by pointing out that the body does have cancer and needs treatment.
