It is up to the org. to determine certain standards for its staff, and language skills are kind of basic unless you're a hospital or landlord that hires people with brain damage for menial tasks so that they can have a place to sleep at night. I'm trying to decide if you are thinking too much or expecting too much. Forum ownership and staffing doesn't imply that you have even completed grade school. This is not some corporate site run by paid skilled staffers. It's bought and run by fans for fans. Calm your ****.
I did the art for that one, I wanted to keep it really clean and simple, could mess around with the map some more since I'm out of ideas for my own stuff at the moment but I wouldn't mess with the walls too much more
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand ForgeHub. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of internet lingo most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also the mod's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into the site's characterisation- their personal philosophy draws heavily from liberalism, for instance. The membes understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not funny- they say something ironic about LIFE. As a consequence people who take ForgeHub seriously truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in moderating a dying website, which itself is a reflection of the Halo franchise. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as members outrage onto their computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them. And yes, by the way, i DO have a ForgeHub tattoo. And no, you cannot see it.
