Through my pursuit of the best pancakes and waffles, my perspective comes from the parent who makes the breakfast, the creator of the pastries, who's tweaking recipes and process each time. Though I prefer waffles, the pancake comes out on top. Creating waffles is easier than pancakes but time consuming with 1 or 2 produced at a time. The only care needed is timing to get the perfect crispy outside and soft inside. The waffling perfectly creates pockets to capture butter and syrup yes, but it is easy to overdue and the waffle/butter/syrup ratio can be thrown off, and also because of the waffling it cannot be easily corrected. Digging excess butter out of the pockets takes time. Consuming waffles is an act of love and patience whereas passion in the creation is where pancakes win. Where waffle batter can be thrown together, pancake batter needs to be just right. Spread, rise, texture, flavor, etc are all just a spoonful away from missing the bulls-eye. And the batter needs to be handled with care, mixing gently so the resulting cakes are not chewy. I enjoy eating waffles more than pancakes but I enjoy making pancakes more than waffles. This is why pancakes win in my mind. I am a creator, problem solver, and perfectionist. The pancake has much more complexity to its creation that I get more fulfillment from the process. Shieeet Pancakes tend to be the safer bet, because is much easier to not **** one up than it is for a waffle, but at the same time a well made waflle with the right amount of crisp is hard to beat
That reminds me, the audio file that was used for marine assault rifle fire in halo has been used in countless movies. I always notice it.
My map will look good and have a few decent interactions. Past that, the shape is making it very difficult to make the terrain actually utilisable instead of functioning as a spawn platform so that you can just rush chapel again. Just goes to show how important shape really is. Also, I can't even make the chapel very interesting because of object count. I'm going to prefab everything on another file and just shift things around. If I find a better shape, I'll forge it. And I was very close to making the roof playable on one side, which would actually work, but you could literally ground pound anywhere on the map that you wanted lmao "I aCtUaLLy LiKe hALo 5" In any case, It'll be done this weekend.
