This is probably the best map ive seen on standoff, it looks like it would be extremly fun for 1 flag or 1 bomb. The platform looks well put together and all the ways up to it looks likes gameplay is fair, great job.
Agreed, by many! The gameplay is empty, looks bad, and overall is the same sort of childish stuff that has recently been featured simply because... ...well anyway, its good to see someone else thinks that much more than a kids map should be considered for featuring.
I'll save LIGHTSOUT the trouble and go ahead and remind everyone that Atheos hates LIGHTS for some reason. I'm guessing Atheos's post is based more on those emotions than objectivity. But whatever. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I'm not trying to start no flame war or nothing.
hay love the map and how it has been made but some time i find these maps unfear for the team up top but i love how its been made looks very cool
my favorite part is the banshee garage. i love how you give the people on the ground the banshee, protected from being destroyed right away
I remember a map that my friend downloaded and showed me called sky fortress. It had the same concept. I haven't been able to get to bungie.net so I can't DL but from pictures alone, this looks like it has outshone sky fortress.
First i would like to say great map. I played it and i liked it. I dont know if anyone else mensioned this but sometimes the attackers spawn in the floating base near the sniper spawn, which is near the flag. That respawn point is set to neutral. This could be changed by the people that download it but it would take the true authors name off.
Yes, each team has a missile pod. The Banshees aren't near as powerful as they seem, they actually flow really well with the map.
If there was no base in the sky I don't really think this would be as good as it is. But i have to say it is the best looking sky base on standoff that i have seen.
umm... err.. the skybase is the main feature of the map, if he had taken it out he wouldn't of released it, the skybase makes heatwave, heatwave, if you catch mah drift...
I downloaded it and played one bomb with about 12 people. It really is a good map. Alot of sky maps are garbage but this map looks like it took time effort and creativity.
