I make my thoughts e-z 4 u Spoiler: one line at a time Democracy is dumb because many people are dumb and get to vote. Smart people can still be influenced by dumb. We are past the tipping point of dumb. Government must now cater to dumb to stay in power. Same applies to corporate IP cults - when you hook the dumb, you cater to the dumb in order to thrive. By catering to the dumb, you attract more dumb. At a certain point, you have too much dumb. Unless of course you are Disney and have an army of children (includes adults) at your disposal. The best hope for smart in either circumstance is to disguise it in a coat of dumb. This is quite difficult, because water runs downhill, not uphill. Alas! You run the risk of making more of an impact in the dumb direction than in the smart direction. [/SPOILER]
I actually almost completely agree for the most part except the more focusing on upgrading armor and weapons. I ****ing hate spending the time to upgrade armor and grind for a higher level. The exception being when you add elemental effects or are in general customizing your weapon to fit your playstyle. Spending the time to just make your armor better is just a huge timewaster imo. Just make it scale with your stats like DS3 does, I loved that change. Everything about level design I completely agree about. There are some things I'd change about DS1's world but most of it is very solid
