There are now more trees on the northern hemisphere than there has been in 100 years The world and life is getting better by the day at an unbelievable rate in almost every way. There are a few exceptions like oceanic over-fishing, but overall it's like 99% good. War, poverty, literacy, life expectancy, the spread of democracy, you name it. It's seriously amazing, and almost nobody knows about it because the media is only interested in the bad.

He just wants to group and label Trump supporters together with vitriolic words and then pander to his virtue by claiming you're the one getting upset so that he can feel like he holds the moral highground. That is his endgame here, not to discuss policies. Your time is more valuable spent elsewhere but if you feel the need to continue this discussion with him then I suggest you find a way to appeal to his emotions because this guy clearly has had his talking points engrained into him like many other leftists instead of doing some honest research. Meanwhile the rain-forests are being destroyed at an alarming rate, the oceans are dying and animal agriculture, which is only growing exponentially with our populations, is killing our chance of long-term life on the planet. Not to be a negative nancy but come on bro, you cant actually believe things are improving environmentally? I do agree that socially we have made some major improvements as a race, but sin is as ever prevalent as it has been but that's just the Human condition. Also **** main stream media for up playing negativity over positivity. Thankfully we are spiritual beings and our life on this world is only but an infinitesimal fraction of our existence. We wont kill the earth, but will certainly kill our own chance of living here in the future if we keep up our mistreatment of this worldly home.
I really, really don't want to get into another argument, because I planned on having free time this weekend, but the human condition has gotten exponentially better in the last 100 years, which includes environmental conditions. There are still certain things that I touched on, like oceanic over-fishing, but almost every other aspect of our planet is on the upswing. These things are happening incrementally, but historically speaking, it's almost all at once. Keep in mind that I was also talking about things like literacy rates, poverty rates, life expectancy, the spread of democracy, and so on. Much of this can be linked to technological advancements, which lead to things like advanced agricultural methods that yield way more crops on way less land, electric cars, atomic energy, and so on. Also, every projection of human population demonstrates that we'll reach about 9 billion, and then dip back down. The problem of over-population is a classic scare tactic headline, but it's just not a threat. I'll never not be amazed at how people generally get angry when I spread this information. I happened upon it through niche means, and so I hoped that others could share in my excitement if they weren't yet aware. It's really amazing, and It makes me really happy. I say hallelujah!
