This is getting a little too on-topic for me. Let's go here https://www.forgehub.com/threads/the-ultimate-question-for-everyone-with-good-opinions.156505/
Would you guys watch a best of 5 2v2 tournament on mixer if @MultiLockOn and I streamed it? We might even put money down. I just wanna do one more night of customs as a sort of "send off" even if halo 6 won't be out for another year. We would likely play all the obvious choices like Arcanum and Storm Peaks, but if anyone has suggestions for other maps that are actually good, hmu
Watch you? I'd ****in' play that. 2v2 H5 on Forge maps is the best way to enjoy this game. @CertifiedChamp has a pretty cool map, right? You had given him suggestions on it too. Optic Prison was also recently revamped, but it still has weapon issues (Dual Hydras lol)
You can try switch if you want, it's apparently pretty ok, and I can't remember the name of the other one someone else did but I'll look that up tonight
I thought I would share slightly on topic that I am finally currently working on completing Alan Wake after all these years of owning it. It's definitely showing it's age but I still think it's an awesome game. I originally dropped it cause the only time I had to play was just before bed and I don't need to fuel my imagination with creepy **** right before bed. I'll probably take a brief hiatus before delving into the expansions. I'm also looking forward to getting back to Remedy's other game Quantum Break, which I quite enjoyed regardless of all the nay sayers. I hope Remedy takes cues from Naughty Dog and a few of the others and push their story telling and game mechanics further. I really want to see more from them. I Finally got around to finishing the Uncharted collection last week and I have to say that series is my favorite single player game experience of all time. (finally topping my clingy nostalgia for Final Fantasy 7) There is still plenty of room for improvement but the story telling style, character acting and humor is exactly what I'm looking for in a single player game. I still have to play it's spin off. Finished The last of Us last night and it was quite good. It's not up to the final Uncharted quality but definitely an interesting game with a simple but enjoyable story. I really hope more companies pick up the Naughty Dog style of story telling. I'm looking forward to the latest God of war because it looks like they have chosen a similar story on the run style. Horizon Zero Dawn is currently on my shelf as well.
How about you guys play maps that are actually made for what Halo 5 truly IS instead of your weird ass design elitism maps that try to make a game that so clearly isn't Halo, play like Halo? Like for real, Halo 5 is not Halo. Stop catering to things that make it play like Halo. Halo's dead boys, its time to move on. The Halobow 5 Siege mentality is the only way to go. Get on my level. Shots fired. But no seriously, you guys should add Casa Su Casa to the mix.
