Pick weapons based on the sight-lines on your map, not based on your opinion of how cool you feel the weapon looks. Feel free to add various shits and ****s where necessary.
Please only use floor pieces because they have lots of detail, and the more the better. Make sure to color all glass baby blue, baby blue glass is everywhere and the natural glass color. Try to only use Barrens Twilight or Tidal Meteor Shower on all your maps as it is the best lighting possible. Mixing terrains allows for epic combinations of enviorments. When uploading your map to forgehub lie and say it way more time than it really did, nobody will question you and it will make you look extra dedicated. Simple blocks have disgusting pointy edges, detailed pieces have lots of supurb detail that allows for more immersive structures. When making forerunner maps only use forerunner weapons and power weapons, for added realism put splinter grenades next to each spawn, all the grenades will better immerse the player in the forerunner world. Crashed spaceships are epic. When making your map save on pieces and just use invisible and soft kills for all boundaries instead of making natural ones, you can then save the rest of the budget for power weapons. Never have more than 16 spawns, there are only 16 people in a game max. so whats the point. When making covenant maps use the brightest purple possible and mix it with neon orange. Make sure to place tons of tier 2 weapons so no one gets bored, esepcially Brute Plasma Rifles. Go into waywo and call Multi or Xandrith gay and say you make better maps, then logoff and come back a week later to see what happened.
What i meant was exactly what i said. 343 is the biggest offender but i see forge maps that do this, too. Terrain can be smooth. Im talking about really detailed bullshit that should be purely visual, but its not.
343's maps are pointlessly noisy, but it's worse in Destiny. If it looks like geometry, it is geometry, and it will be the difference between your tripmine sticking vertically or horizontally. And in Destiny, you can die if you jump and land on a pebble the wrong way.
Don't bother making Forge maps because this game is **** and your map will never be as good as it should.
