The number of likes I get on this post will determine how long I will put off making another Cesspool map. I know how to fish too
I'm thinking of making a small map... where the "power weapon" is a vehicle. A ghost, to be specific. How feasible would that be? Obviously the setup would have to: make the spawn of the ghost have good sightlines into many other parts of the map (for the gun) OR make catwalks and wide paths for the ghost (for travel) or maybe even a combination of both to make it actually a power play to use. How would a small layout work for these features? I like the concept, and was hoping the more seasoned forgers could lend some advice. EDIT: My idea is that not enough maps use vehicles, only BTB maps have them regularly, then it's just "this team gets this vehicle at their base every few minutes". I was trying to think of a way to implement them at a smaller scale.
For 4v4 maps that encorporate vehicles well i'd recommend looking up Seclusion by GivenToFly93 and Wash Out by Kell of Scotts. They are probably the best examples in halo 5.
With small maps. 4v4 and below vehicles are very very difficult to get to work. This is just due to the huge difference in speed between player and vehicle. Making routes for both the vehicle and players will be difficult. Also it'll be hard to balance it so the ghost is neither to OP, nor useless ."Vespine" by negativezero is the obly decent 4v4 with a vehicle I can think of. It Uses a wasp
Somebody said map filter Is there any way to do a split H5 / ED home map screen? I'm overwhelmed by the amount of EDH3 content
so far i'm working on a map for at least 9 days, and dunco is not forging another cesspool for the same amount of time.
