TBH I'd be happy if it was just H1 again. Oh, and sign this petition: https://www.change.org/p/343-industries-343-industries-should-make-h6-a-h-ce-clone
Yeah for some reason it seems like that. Maybe it's just his voice and pronounciation. Either way, not a good listen. I never increase the speed, it's still a different language so I gotta listen carefully. And I just read books lol.
All I know is, i this is out on Friday as expected, I am buying some Dew, some Doritos, and smoking a blunt while checking out Halo Online for the first time... (the movie "Friday" will be on in the background, too)
I mean, maybe the sand and some of the lighting, but the physical structure doesnt look too good, especially since they don't use the environment to their advantage too much. Not nearly enough glass or encorporating the water and sand.
that's actually not that bad of a solution. splitscreen is horrendously bad for performance, which is why it has been skipped recently. So, if your computer can handle two instances, then you get splitscreen. If not, or you don't wnat to degrade graphic quality to compensate, then you don't. With double monitors, one .exe running and expanded on each, it might be a better overall solution, provided that controller support doesn't get wonky/confused.
and if you want to 1v1 you can angle the monitors away from each other for true MLG Battleship experience
The thing that I found peculiar ever since Halo Reach was this talk that Halo needed to learn from other popular games and bring in sprint and and abilities, and yet when Halo first released it was in the midst of the twitch FPS craze. I thought, "What were they thinking, it's so much slower than UT and Quake, it's brutal." Then almost instantly I started falling in love with that slower pace and how it made people become more tactical in how they played. You could still run and gun but there were clear benefits to holding back. Why do we need to be at top speed again. What's changed? Why is Halo trying to be more like everyone else. Isn't it better to highlight Halo's unique qualities and fine tune them. Emphasize it's difference from the pack. That's not to say there aren't subtle things to take from Halo 5. I think clamber is a nice addition, I just don't like how high you can clamber. Two thirds the height would be good. It's a lot better than jumping to a ledge and missing it because you took it in the toe. I liked the vaulting idea. It was more subtle and it emphasized the Spartans maneuverability. Oh well, we're deep in it now and I don't know if we can ever crawl back out.
