@Soldat Du Christ Does his really look good to you? It's just stuff. None of it looks like it serves a purpose and it almost doesn't even resemble Halo. You could stick this into any generic Sci-Fi game or movie and nobody would bat an eye. I think this single hallway from Halo 3 has more artistic integrity than all of Halo 5.

Reach was the only halo game that had human architecture that was actually somewhat interesting. We really shouldn't act like the UNSC designs are any worse in halo 5 when compared to halo 1-3 (non anniversary editions) compairing the earliest piece of concept art for halo 5 to a polished ingame screenshot doesn't really help your argument. Not saying I fully disagree with your point just that it's a rediculous comparison.
Most of the time concept art looks better than the actual game, as it should. A concept artist creates the best possible scene that they can, and then designers try to put that into the game the best they can. Concept artists are only limited by their own ability, but designers and builders are limited by the engine and how much you can actually pull off in a 3d environment. In other words, I was doing them a favor. The **** in game actually looks worse. And if you seriously think that Halo 5 UNSC is on the same level as Halo 3, I don't even know what to say. I mean you think Spartan abilities are fine so I guess I just don't care

Ya I think some of the human architecture in Bungies halo looks almost as bad as some parts of halo 5 I'm sorry I dont subscribe to the "halo 5 is 100% ****" circlejerk. Halo 3 looks good in most areas, bad in others. (Blackout is the biggest offender) Bungies love for repetition is responsible for most of my complaints with their art. it's so bland and uninspiring. Its almost as bad as 343's love for lense flairs and emissives. Key word there is "almost" Saber Interactive are the only ones who should be allowed to do art for halo

I never commented on what parts of the picture were the focus ahaha what the **** are you even on about Forgetting your idiocy for a second - link literally any Halo 5 concept art or map and my perspective is the same. It all looks like generic sci-fi garbage. Even the ship.
H2A looked damn good but that's because Halo 2's art direction was already good and they got complaints the last time they did CEA and changed that game's art. at least they listened.
