    i know this sounds like a basic question and I'm sorry,but I'm tired of myvmaps looking goofy. Certain rooms I make become almost pitch black even when I turn off the dynamic lighting option and idea why?

    Canvas? Skybox? Lightmap? Baking on/off? Chromabox?

    @Ascend Hyperion

    You have some videos on this stuff right?

    Lighting is probably one of, if not the most complex issues to tackle in forge.

    What canvas/daytime setting are you on? Pitch black items typically come from really high lightmap

    This video might help you tackle some of the basics too:

    Happy to help. There are other videos in that series that may help you in the future too.

    generally, light gets blocked by everything, even when "Baking" is off, so you need new light sources inside your cooridoors, for instance.
