That's so sick! Made something similar for an Extermination map but this is cool AF. Very innovating, can't wait to give it a try!
Ah yes was it your Eight Pages Map? I remember seeing that you could teleport forward and thinking that was awesome. It uses similar mechanics

Great concept and execution, the map looks fantastic! I have tried something similar once where in a 1v1 players swap locations every 30 seconds and so I can relate the amount of effort put into the scripting. I am happy to see you guys pulled it off. I hope we see more maps for this game type in the future.
Man I didn't even think of fiesta. That would fit this map much better considering it's hard to pickup weapons. Genius!

That's heresy. Tom French is our forge god. Though SexyMasterChief is definitely the scripting king and built the system you see here. In simple form: a trait such as alpha, bravo, etc. is applied to each player that enters the game and a special timing system is used to check to see if that person is alive or dead or which level/world they are on. Top world is "on" power state, bottom is "off". Each powerup is then scripted to follow that designated person around. A receiver teleporter follows you around too, just 160 units above or below you depending on which world you're in. Upon interaction, a sender teleporter flies to your location and shoots you to the receiver in the same direction you're facing. Then the receiver goes 160 units in the opposite direction. Also, a corresponding fx orb follows the receiver around so people know where you're at. So there you have it! Essentially I made one map, duplicated it exactly with different terrain and pathings 160 units above the other. Except that took me and Chief several months to get working correctly haha

Did you ever have the problem where if a player wants to teleport, the transmitter moves in on them and then if another player is in the line of movement from the transmitter they get teleported also to the same receiver? I had this problem on my game mode where I kept the transmitter bellow or above the players but then when a player was directly above you or below you they got caught in the transport as well. I essentially had to eliminate any map that had verticality. I also tried having the transmitter move in horizontally across the map to the players positon but as it would sweep up players more frequently it became the less effective method. Also, is there a reason you chose the maps to be on top of each other rather then next to each other? Sorry, I am just super pumped you two got this concept working.
