I love stuff like this and actually have a map with this concept but unfortunately I don't think we'll see it in Halo since some weapons are hitscan. You can't teleport a line trace.
Thinking about my favorite games recently and how fun Halo used to be made me realize there's nothing 343 can do to Halo 6 multiplayer to make it interesting if they continue their current trajectory. The game will almost assuredly have a bloated sandbox once again and Spartan Abilities "rebalanced." The rfact they even considered nerfing the Halo 5 pistol was our sobering callback to reality when it seemed like their recent hires and lowkey delay were potentially promising signs of things to come. They aren't. A zebra can never change its stripes. By the time the game comes out, there will be substantial competition from games that don't have identity problems. There are so many great ideas they can add to Halo, like the shooting through portals thing, but they want to chase CoD and Titanfall. WHY
