Exactly, it is the individuals choice. People need to stop thinking for others and worry about themselves.
Sure, it goes both ways... Which means that anyone that's upset by the people that are upset when certain words are used should worry about themselves.
People that get upset by words or pictures that are not personal attacks are just looking to feel victomized and gain sympathy. This applies to both sides. I've seen far more Conservative/Religious people getting upset or angry about nothing moreso than the stereotypical college liberal stereotype I always see talked about on the internet.
If you are implying I was offended. I wasn't. Just wanted to make a few points. BUT NOW I AM OFFENDED BY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
All I'm trying to say is if you know that people can be offended by **** you say, why choose to say it over other words that aren't categorical of a certain group? The world is a better place if you go out of your way to not disclude other people. Yeah, people are probably way too ****ing sensitive about it, and they probably should realize that when someone says "Oh that's so gay" they probably hold no ill will towards those who are homosexual. But you can't control how those people feel and react, all you can control is yourself, so why not make the miniscule effort to adjust your language? It requires so little effort to take a split second to think about how your words might affect others that it's just straight up lazy to not do so.
In today's day and age everyone is offended by everything. There are over 7 billion people on this planet, it's impossible not to offended people based on what you say. What one person finds offensive another might not. I don't think people need to walk on eggshells, I think people need to grow thicker skin.
Because at this point in society there's literally no way to know what will offend people so why bother letting then win. H&M just lost how much money on something that CLEARLY wasn't racist?
I'm talking specifically about references to homosexuals. You know it can offend someone. Other stuff yeah, people are way too sensitive about stuff that's borderline at worst, but you can't say you don't know if calling something gay is offensive when you literally know there's a large group of people that are offended.
I don't. Hating poeple is a waste of time. If I'm not a fan of someone I aim to make them hate me instead. **** you bitches and your tender epidermises
Well humans are garbage, but I still try and take away as much pain and suffering as I can from them. I don't constantly think of my hatred for them, it's as time consuming for me as breathing at this point
