Door closed Closet closed Blinds shut Some kind of light on Nothing even remotely resembling a person hanging up anywhere in the room Legs not hanging off the bed so a monster doesn't pull you down to the depths of hell. The last thing you want is a gray ALIAN peeping through your blinds or a demon standing in the corner of your room. The one thing I miss about living in on the 4th floor near an airport though is being able to leave the blinds open and watch planes land at night. But nah, not doing that on the first floor of any building. And it's not even that it's superstitious. Your mind just plays tricks on you when you sleep and that **** is disturbing. I once dreamt - with my eyes closed - that a big spider was crawling on my blanket. I opened my eyes, and in my dazed state, I swore I saw it there. I frantically shook the blanket until I reassured myself that I was just hallucinating. And then I saw the mofo a few days later on the floor in the same spot it would have fallen. I know better now.
