I'll send you some blood pressure medicine. Also, how much salt did you use? One dash is all you need.
Anyone know why people are bitching about the new Star Wars so much? Thought it was pretty good and pretty much anyone I ask in person likes it. Why are people online freaking out?

I think the ones that are upset about it went in expecting a Marvel type of action movie instead of the worldbuilding drama we got. I personally loved it and would consider it in my top 3 starwars movies. One of the biggest complaints ive seen was how open ended the ending was.. What exactly were they expecting? its the second film in a trilogy. Its hard to try and guess where the story will lead but I would say that is a good thing. We still need room for 1 whole movie to wrap everything up. I wasnt to big of a fan of Force Awakens, and I thought Rouge One was amazing.
Viewing The Last Jedi requires careful consideration before, during, and after. You need to assess your expectations, the context of the film both as 'art' and 'business'. Then you must keep your eyes open, aware, and awake while viewing. Then afterwards, you must retell the story to yourself. Only then can you truly appreciate it for what it is. And Spoiler: This is an opinion not a spoiler BOY OH BOY DOES IT SUCK ASS.
I think huge movie franchise spoilers most people can agree is actually something that shouldn't be discussed in waywo. I didn't say anything about it but I am now since you're determined to continue. Make a thread or something. I usually click spoiler first so the hidden pics can load while I read the post. On mobile you can't see all the spoiler text so you mainly just see 'spoiler'
The new films have so far given me a tremendous appreciation for the prequels because they have so much great music. I find myself humming the entire soundtrack of the prequel films often and even the motifs from the OT still stick around in my head. The new movies only really have Rey's Theme going for them; that alone makes them lesser films to me. (Rey's theme is good though and started off TFA nicely.) I remember watching one of the behind the scenes featurettes on the prequel DVDs and there was a comment made about how you could “watch the movie without dialog and the music will tell the story.” I don't get that feeling anymore. Honestly, I think it's a lost art in todays climate, which is weird considering John Williams is still scoring.
