Yo, check out my current 2v2 map in the works: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo-5-guardians/xbox-one/map-variants/bookmarks?gamertag=King Kantalope#ugc_halo-5-guardians_xbox-one_mapvariant_King Kantalope_1df3dbf0-c36f-4302-bd15-9fcfeced7fbc
I really wish we had the hexagonal rocks from Coliseum. A map with those rocks all over would be killer
balance. harmony between the dominant and secondary colors that represent the lead and background emotions of the map. if there is no anger or passion, dont use red, or mute it all the way down to maroon. if there is calmness, use a soft blue. if your map is one color (brown), use duller (beige) and richer (bronze, tan) values to convey expression. to find the dominant emotion of the map, walk around and ask yourself what you feel or would like to feel. then add colors that represent other emotions using the color wheel. the map doesn’t need a “theme” to have color balance. use the pace of gameplay to influence the tone. what color would onslaught be as a blockout?
Took a look at grey death in forge People weren't lying about stone texture. Also one of the lifts can be broken by walking in backwards
wait, just thought about this again... did you do in forge and not bake lighting? It does not look like the same map... perhaps you did but you just still had the same opinion. Also, without resetting scripting ect in forge mode you would not see things operate correctly unless in Customs, FYI.
What colors would I use if I say we're trying to convey fear and comfort in the same map? I was thinking purple, white, and black
