nah, that's not the way it was in 2015 before this thing some people are referring to as "neutrality". It was far from neutral and you were fooled by a slick name, hate to tell ya Like "PATRIOT ACT" well you can't oppose that, cuz you're a patriot right? you want neutrality and we named this scheme "neutrality" so you like it, right? haha yeah 2015 was such a horrible time for the internet <rollseyes>
Could you provide some evidence that tells me why I shouldn't be afraid that my ISP won't **** me over by either charging premiums for different content like Netflix etc, or by throttling certain sites they don't have a vested interest in you seeing? My main issue is that ISPs are not just ISPs. They provide cable, they own media stations. That gives them incentives to drive people towards their other products and away from their competition.
Well I haven't looked into this, but If we didn't have Net Neutrality in 2015, then I'm no longer scared. I don't remember anything being different.
That's when ISPs were starting to pull some **** which is why the Obama administration felt it needed to put rules down in the first place. I'll find specific examples later when I'm out of work.
343 announced some of the details of the upcoming HCS season. MLG is back as the tournament organizer in NA, and for the World Championship. Also assisting in growing the HCS in general. Competitive Halo is going back to its roots and everyone is freaking out about it. https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2017/12...gaming-announce-new-partnership-halo-esports/ We need an MLG smiley @WARHOLIC
Free market. This did not happenin 2015 and then vanish cuz of this gov regulation... In a free market you may have to suffer the consequences of your boycotts, i admit. In some areas there arent enough choices. But, in most there is dsl from one company and cable from another and now, fober optic from another. Thats why your activism energy is better spent trying to keep the monopolies from happening or breaking them up when they do. Also, the so callednet neutrality was giving the real giants like facebook, google to massively censor any content they wanted. I would be much more afraid of those guys...
God dammit, I am so used to actual things people work on being under spoilers to the point I instinctively clicked it as fast as possible.
