The 'Most Downloaded' category is the way it is because anytime you create a system, people want to find a way to manipulate/break it.
It's ready for scripting and then it's done. I just spent an hour optimizing everything I could piece wise and saved about 300. There are some frame drops in the middle but I don't care anymore. It's time to move on. Huge shout-out to Multi for the lighting.
screw ye, who are able to farge in the marnin' (irish accent) I am so jealous of that, let alone the map skillz
What sort of scripting remains? Things like doors? Or is there gonna be a special game mechanic of some sort?
That bright light you see there is a key fx... let me know if you don't already have someone lined up to populate it with the key scripting, @Xandrith I could possibly do it tonight especially if it is very straightforward and doesn't deviate from Arcanum's scheme.
It should be straightforward but I want to tell whoever scripts it what I want in voice and in game because it's very specific.
There are 2 key doors (you can see one of them in the top right) and 2 key lifts (one is bottom left)
alright, hit me up if your other guy falls through, maybe we can discord chat. I do not have Live... (EDIT, actually it's slightly less straight just because your doors are not all doors... but it's doable it will just be a little more complicated than copy & paste)
I've been slowly working on this map with @CheapBox v2 for a while. It's about 90% forged on PC...Still haven't settled on the name, though we've gotten several good suggestions. This current file is called "Temple of Dog" as a little tribute to my haters of times past. I went with a more realistic filter and basically all natural light this time. Got the frame rate completely removed, and cleaned it up a bit. Feels like it's at that final polish stage, but I'm gonna take more time with it cause I typically post my **** way too early.
