Yeah I made about 5 in 15 minutes, just for fun. I bet you can make even better ones if you really take your time.
@HeX Reapers - Finally downloaded Eldewrito and gave it a try because your talking about it all the time. I am guessing you are working on the game? I was supprised by the game for sure.
Nope, I'm very much into it though. I'm mostly active in the competitive discord, which is practically it's own community. I quit 0.5 last year due to its lack of polish, but 0.6 earned me back. It's going to be a new game I can't stress that enough.
a couple days ago, I had my first customs matches with forgehub members after close to a year of posting here (about halo 5, anyway). thanks to @Ryouji Gunblade for running some customs on PC on a regular basis! Others, come join if for no other reason than to shoot at me We are usually organizing on the Discord subsection for custom lobbies.
That depends on if it is floating or not, I bet you can, allthough id imagine it would be difficult (and likely not worth it), I thought light switches were not possible either and look at this. I don't know how many cool things have to be made before people stop saying small scale sucks in H5.
Try some of the covenant pieces, maybe some nice panels with grime and whatever color the person is make sure it looks like a roast beef sandwich when done.
There is but there's actually some extra stuff I had to add to Arcanum afterwards that wasn't prefabbed. When I get a chance I'll put together a clean prefab.
@ExtraSpicyMemes re: key asthetic improvements... the key pieces themselves are already relatively small compared to other forge pieces, and in order to have it as a floating pickup item, rather than a wall fixture, you wouldn't be able to phase into walls, and probably not even the floor. This is important because you never know what configuration the next person's map will have, and their walls & floors may be thinner than the next, and pieces may protrude. There may be better pieces... if there is, you'd know But, technical requirements may limit your options. The one thing I'd look into is the lense flare. They are currently using four or five lights in order to produce the 1 asthetic flare that is able to be seen from all relevant angles. That seems expensive... They might look into instead using 1 Sun Flare light (wait for it) set to be very dimly lit with a very small flare. This is the only lens flare effect in the game that is visible from all angles. However, admittedly, it wouldn't look quite as good as the current iteration.
And why stop with keys that look like keys? I mean you can make a magic staff, a spinning medaillon or a glowing cube etc.
