That episode was literally put in to support a narrative in society. I haven't watched the entire series but I know that is what that was.
Agreed. The second series is pretty flawed imo. Lost most of what made it unique with some incredibly cliche characters and even stronger reliance on more typical horror tropes, which is a shame. That episode is definitely trash. Also, the series kind of parodies itself with the same events happening in the second that happened in the first, just in a different way. I still enjoyed it, but it's lost something imo

Ok two critical posts in a row but I actually strongly dislike the changes to this game. The BR is useless and the AR is ****. No I'm not a super skilled player, although I have been up to onyx 1800 I generally reach high diamond each season. My main weapon has always been the assault rifle. I get that the pistol is harder to use, but it would still beat AR at range before the update, so you still had to use the pistol. Now it's basically all pistol. I'd play HCS if I wanted that. If the problem was just that the AR had too much range, why not take some range off it instead of making it a totally different weapon? I know you need time to get used to these changes, but I feel like it's basically just use your pistol 80-90% of the time. Sure you need to be skilful with the pistol, but it feels two dimensional af with little room for other playstyles. My index finger hurts from having to use the pistol so much. This **** isn't fun.
The AR basically became the pistol. Instead of making the AR what it really is (a close range spray weapon that shreads) they turned it into....another pistol. More accurate, slightly less damage. Lots of headshot damage to clean up 1 shot kills. Identical kill times to rest of the sandbox. They increased accuracy, reduced damage, and increased headshot multipliers. I literally would've done the exact opposite. I would've cut the range in half, removed all headshot bonuses and almost doubled the damage. Make it the bullet hose it should be but limit the damn range. Now it's just boring.
Yeah I really don't get it. I understand the thought process behind nerfing it a bit, and I'd be genuinely interested to try the changes you mentioned, but making it a different weapon altogether is imo ridiculous. It feels clumsy af trying to hit headshots in that close range where you'd traditionally aim for the belly. Like you said, that's what a pistol is for, so whether it's harder to use or not, they're making the game more two dimensional imo. They're sucking the joy from this game imo. As much as pistol battles should be key, this **** is over the top. Both the AR and BR are pretty much redundant now. I don't get it... Also, what I don't get is that if they weren't going to stick with the weapon tuning test changes and they changed them, why not test them in a specific playlist first too? And the scary thing is they've put so much time and effort into these changes that they surely won't go back on these changes in a meaningful way despite them being so very wrong. Looks like the people on waypoint aren't too happy, either.
My main issue with that episode was how it broke the momentum of the show, could have chopped it up and sprinkled it across two episodes. I think its intention was to show us how Eleven could have turned out, but it felt really shoehorned in because of the standalone episode.
uhm ex-cuse me, but like, Master Chief has like auto-aim dampening built into his suit so *** TECHNICALLY *** we shouldn't even be having this conversation anymore because in canon he can totally get those full-auto crits and headshots just by thinking about it.
