I wasn’t but I watched after the fact. Every map I make I learn new things about level design but my time for map building shrinks as I get older, so I seek it out more actively. There were indeed two areas you talked about and both addressed the same concern. And while you did bring up the idea of opening up the windowed hall, I couldn’t get out of you why. Poor communication or poor interpretation on my part. I couldn’t see the “why” while on map together and I’ve learned long ago not to make last minute changes without good reason. I’ve got regrets on a few MM maps going back to Reach because of that.

As someone who has been butthurt by map feedback myself, I honestly understand the butt hurt-ness. But did anyone honestly expect anything different from @MultiLockOn and @nogodanywhere , YOU chose them as your judges and we all knew and know full and we'll there personalities, which they are true to. They are both blunt and upfront about there personal opinion, and don't hesitate to share them. While I agree that the posts weren't very professional, this isn't a professional contest. It's an amateur one and they both made amateur posts, which follows. And let's be honest with ourselves? Are the 1v1 maps the best we have to offer? The answer is no. The contest was too short and began at a terrible time. The start of the fall semester is a busy time for 90% of the community and many simply did not have the time or resources to test there maps. I think it comes down to inexperience with H5 1v1 and not this community's level design talent. At the end of the day, if you made a bad ass map that you and your buddies can have a blast playing, who gives 2 flying ****s what the judges have to say.

For the record, War chose the judges. And I don’t know if @Blaze hasnt said anything because he hasn’t checked, or because he wants to keep the professionalism. Either way, I look forward to what he has to say, whenever he decides to say it.
