Also, I guarantee I can save you money on the print by having my shop do it. (I'll get it done for free as a sample.)
Also, I spent 3,000 on a 2003 Chevy Tracker and the only issue I have had with it over the ages is the battery.
Civic nation bud!! I’ve been rocking my 2010 civic for 3 years, no problems besides a retarded ac. Best car I’ve ever owned.
A. It's a hybrid and one of the major problems that came up recently is the Integrated Motor Assist battery is dying. Read that they usually last around 10 years so that doesn't seem abnormal. B. I'm still delivering pizzas, so lots of strain on the engine. I'm having transmission problems from all the different accelerating and decelerating. C. So with the pizza delivering job I've got 125k on it. I could put the money into it to fix it up and it'd probably keep going for another 125k, but idk if it's worth it. The new hybrid battery runs around $2000 and the transmission issues I got quoted for ~$1000 each for two separate problems. Plus I need a full new set of tires. So more than $4000 to fix up a 10 year old car doesn't seem worth it when I can get a used 2014 Civic with 20k on it for $15k.
You guys can expect the results no later than the end of November, we're not going to drag this contest on Just cut ~50 maps. We'll have the top 20 or so in the next week. Then we'll do single elimination up until the final 10 and actually number those 1 - 10 for the winners. Trello will be updated soon-ish I think idk I don't really mess with trello.
I own an ‘04 Corolla, and if I didn’t intend on getting something faster, I’d buy another one in a heartbeat. Very reliable car.
Thanks for the transparency. You still plan on doing a video explaining the reasons the top 10 were selected?
Probably top 25 yes. I actually think most American made cars are junk. Just about every Japanese made car hold value way longer than anything made here. Subarus are the slowest depreciating cars in the US, then Lexus/Toyota. They just build them with better control and quality assurance.
Yo for reals guys I've driven like... **nearly** everything.. made in the last 25 years (including but not limited to: 2007 Ford F-250, 2016 Mercedes AMG GTS, 2017 Dodge Challenger Hellcat, 2012 Kia Soul, 1992 Honda Civic Hatchback) Ask me Might start a YouTube because I haven't seen anyone actually doing this stuff except Doug deMuro and he's a shill (I mean that with all the love in my heart Doug)
Yup. And even then Honda/Nissan are doing diesel engines now in their trucks and the Tundra is getting one next year. Gap is closing. Silverados are still the best though
I think it has very, very nice suspension, great engine note and and blow-off whistle, though the interior build leaves much to be desired. Also the current gen has way too many angles (awkward terrain is great but sometime you gotta know when to put down the extrude tool). Frankly, the Kias and High-end Honda crossovers of the past few model years are some of the best interiors I've tasted on modern cars. Subaru just doesn't click there, which does actually affect driver engagement a little bit.
Yeah my dad absolutely loves his Silverado, I think it's a 2014. Better than his F-150 that he had forever.
I have a 2006 Corolla. It's literally never had any work done on it, aside from oil, tire, battery changes, and it runs like it's brand new. I swear they do some kind of witchcraft on the damn things. They're supernatural.
Youre not wrong there, Subaru interiors have always felt cheap and lame. One of the hardest things for me as an STI guy is seeing the new Focus ST/RS hatchbacks and how nice the interiors are, those cars feel like spaceships. As for the body style, my favorite year was the 2014 hatch. Anything newer I don't like.
