oh, I thought you were buttering him up or giving him some butter to use for some weird **** lol (kidding)
That was my plan for this contest too. I tried to build designs that I thought would be unique, and difficult to do well. I've talked about this almost every time 1v1 design discussions come up. I purposely avoided using this approach on the new designs I submitted because I wanted a challenge, but it's a tried and true approach. Run yourself over I hate you Spoiler Am I in the top 3 yet?
I think you are misunderstanding me. I actually use it the most when I am trying something different. I think my thread will clear it up a bit. About 1/3 of the way through it. Also, I don't think anybody realizes that I am memeing every time I say it.
Lmao i still have to build my gym maybe ill reinstall it soon, plus i want to see some quality 1v1 maps
None for H5 though. Until you explain it, you're just talking nonsense. I wasn't here for Halo 4 and H2A, so if you discovered some spawning techniques for 1v1, just explain it.
You can change the spawn selection, but the method in which spawns are selected is still static, and thus can be abused. Tele spawns is the only way to have truly random spawning. Which I never thought I would consider, but it would be more enjoyable than having the same few fights all game long.
I've noticed that you played Faultline quite a bit, and I appreciate the effort you're making to avoid personal bias. I think Yeti and I both know that Eulogy wasn't going to go far, so don't worry about it. I should have tweaked spawns more and changed top to bottom interaction, because bottom mid spawn is far too weighted, which you already know. And footsteps are a nightmare on the map. If you use the crossbar jumps, they will at least have to reposition themselves. There is also a useful jump next to sniper spawn that comes in handy to catch people off guard. That's about it, though. I definitely have some ideas on how to alleviate that, so I'm glad I know now.
off topic Didn't 343 mention sometime around the Halo Wars 2 Awakening the Nightmare reveal that Halo 5 would be getting another content update? Or am I just imagining things?
I've been able to reproduce this whole "Intro" being treated like a pre-round, in a blank map. Test example of first having no cameras, then 1 intro camera, and then 1 static camera...
