Those are literally all questions with subjective answers. It's up to what you think will work and play well. I'd suggest looking at the 1v1 contest discussion thread for some ideas on answers to your questions.
they were just questions from the top of my head. I wasn't trying to get anyone upset. I understand what you mean tho, it's up to the forger, but those were just major things that would change the contest. no worries tho.
I'm assuming you're talking about the map size? Being a 1v1 sized map means that regardless of play style, the score limit should be reached or be very close to reaching it. Also check the thread in the op for more ideas on whatakes a good 1v1
ah ok I have a few ideas of a 1v1 map but gotta get home first from school but lets just say the style of it is around "old times"
Lol so long as it's not a remake I'm sure you'll be fine Make sure you hurry though, you only have 4 days left to submit!
Hi everybody. Does anyone know if cinematics are a must at the end of the game? I have them on the intro but I'm running very tight on my piece count - I can make room for them if they're a deal breaker though
@the1v1judges Will you guys use a Trello board for this 1v1 contest or another way to see all submissions, points, rounds etc? Sorry if I missed it somewhere.
To anybody who’s looking to get a few tests in/just look at some entries in-action: I’m looking to get a Lobby together tonight around 7 Central time. Most people would be observing during the matches, but we’ll definitely switch off. Hopefully good feedback will come out of this for forgers that are there for it
This is not an exam so I don't really need to know my score, this is a contest, but is there a reason you're not inclined to? It seems to have worked well and been well received in the past.
it may be nice to know if you're map was eliminated first, or last, ya know? How close did you get to almost winning? that sort of thing...
**** this, I added my map on forge hub, but it wouldn't upload for like 4 minutes because this site's infrastructure is a pos, and can't support PNGs EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS IT DOES. Ffs, why did I even come back?
