Haven't played it myself but have watched others play and overall, I think it's a great game. There's nothing you can really hate about it other than someone raging over the difficulty but I like the fact that the difficulty of the game isn't forgiving. I'm glad the devs fully flushed it out and took more time to make it an actual game and not just a boss shooting gallery. Hope it gets some dlc in the future cause even though I've seen people play it, I plan on getting it down the line because I feel like it's one of those games where you need to play it yourself to truly enjoy it and appreciate it for what it's worth.
I have had so much fun playing it. I haven't had this much fun with a platformer since megaman x back in the day.
The art and animation is really good, but I haven't played it and I don't know anything about platformers. Is it good?
It's based off of Contra, lots of running and gunning involved. Biggest change from said game is the focus on Boss Battles; I think you could count on both hands the amount of levels that are more about getting from point A to point B. The Bosses themselves are challenging, but mostly fair. It requires a lot of fast thinking and reflexes, and you're severely punished by not having any Health pick-ups, save for an end-game encounter. If you're not a patient man, you won't enjoy this game.
I agree, I was just saying there are a lot of remixes out now of their awesome music. I just found that interesting.
King dice can suck a ****, every boss was doable but I hope he chokes and dies, parrying those stupid ass cards is painful even if you are good at parrying. You can't practice either because its at the end of like a 5 minute boss rush. and I thought the Dragon Boss was hard. Oh and this was the best game I played this year, it overshadowed Sonic Mania for me which was also an incredible game.
Wow this game seems a lot of fun. Love the animation style and music. I like how sometimes these smaller games can really surprise you. Unravel was great too.
