With the upcoming major update to Halo Online/El Dewrito, I thought it would be appropriate to share the many things the team are doing to vastly improve H3 Forge. As of now it's very expected things with a few neat oddballs thrown in. I myself was hoping a few vets would be willing to make a return seeing as all the stressful tricks will become supported plus new mechanics that were never there. Upcoming Forge improvements include the following: - Brand new Forge pieces - Increased object limit - Grouping & Duplication - Quick Search - Magnets - Rotation Snap - Material/Texture options - RGB Lights - Etc. Obviously I recommend checking out the main game changes too, as this update will be massive. Links: What IS Halo Online/El Dewrito? I plan on getting forge pieces out to the public that ive manually been working on, the problem is getting them in an official update, since im not part of the eldewrito team i can release them for everyone to use and inject into the game, however if everyone doesnt have the same objects it will just be a wire frame mesh that they see, only you would be able to see the forge pieces
I haven't been following this at all really, but finally just took a good look into it. It interests me greatly. The forge tool looks much better than I was expecting. On top of the materials shown in the first post, the lighting, screen FX, and coloring options look pretty badass. Place-able water anyone? Nice! Also... DAAAAMN that FOV is crazy. I am a PC only player and totally understand the need for adjustability, but that is insane! to each his own...
