D.A. stands for Destiny Anonymous. I want people to come in here and let it all out. Explain how you came to grasp with your problems with addiction related to this game and how you conquered it or attempted to conquer it. Only want to see PMA in this thread. Positive Mental Attitudes.
I bought D2 the day it came and I don't think I'm going to be playing it past today or tomorrow. Game is boring, meaningless, shallow, garbage. Even the raid sucked.
I was hyped for Destiny for the longest time. It came out and I gamed the **** out of it. Finished what was called the "story line" and was like wtf dude? I couldn't keep up with the DLC payments which was what turned me away from the COD franchise. In the end the "full" game cost a ridiculous amount of money especially for what was provided. This was not a case of you get what you pay for. It looked good but just fell soooo short of what I was expecting. People are going to come in and defend the game all day long but the fact is their standards are low and I don't care what they think. Destiny broke my heart and I haven't pre ordered a game since.
Happily playing Destiny 2 as of late Finally got the specific chestplate I wanted. Hit 270 the other day so Im focused on that dank fashion as a work my way up.
Having a great time, especially with patrol stuff. Finally hit that 280 light mark. The music is blowing me away, and I'm excited for the upcoming Faction rally and Iron Banner. Will do it all over again on PC.
I hope that New Monarchy has a good lookin Titan helm next week. The current selection of legendary ones are less than stellar
lmao, I predicted that YOU would be one of the people to actually like destiny 2. Mostly on account of what goat would call your "forge kid" status, you forge kid. on a side note, I can't wait for your trials of the nine themed map dood
Yeah I was gonna comment about how I enjoy the game and why I think it's a lot of fun, but I think I'll just go ahead and keep the rest of my opinion to myself...lol you tried, purely. thanks for trying
Go ahead man, this is for both negative and positive outlooks on Destiny and what it does to people. No one should go after anybody and if they come after you just ignore them. They can only spew venom if you let them.
Positive: I helped a randy find a chest on Nessus. We were lookin' around for this chest for hellas. http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Ascend Hyperion/video/36713166
It's no big deal man, the farty cloud of negativity is something that hangs over every corner of the internet. It's a byproduct of all the wounded buttholes out there and this thread was a pretty funny window into it. On the destiny 2 tip, I think the game is basically a better version of what destiny 1 was going for. There's not a lot of 'wow' in terms of new mechanics or crazy overhauls to the game, it's essentially what I expect from a sequel. More polished, basically the same, but better. They pulled a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, and that's cool with me. I played destiny 1 for a bit and got bored eventually. Maybe that will happen with 2, but so far it's worth the money I paid. The real hook for me though is that I can play it with my girlfriend...A little while ago I got a second xbox from a friend of mine for dirt cheap, and since I already had an extra controller and you can share digital games, the hope was that we would find something to get really into together. There hasn't been a game that's sucked us both all the way in yet, but Destiny is the perfect game for that because she's into RPGs and I like FPS games mainly. It's literally a combination of our two interests. Also the music is good and the themes are memorable, which is something I care about, and the art and graphics are fantastic. It's one of the most colorful games I've played in a genre where everything is usually gray and gritty. One thing I don't like is the hunter / warlock / titan main character dudez. I don't care about them and I think Nathan Fillion's voice acting is obnoxious. The game a shoot em up grind fest, and I don't need it to be made into more than that.
