They're all important. Honestly I'd like to stick away from the point system as much as possible. These decisions really should just from discussions not numbers.
Just make it also a magnum, if they're the same it'll only spawn you with one. 343 is retarded and doesn't have an option to none.
There is an option for none... its just in the middle somewhere. BTW i was thinking 12 min to 15 would be the best. Its what weve been playing on.
I hear this, Jesus the salty drama here, I am working on an assym arena with a chill out vibe that I'm trying to achieve some decent vertical gameplay and flow on, trying to nail down the lines of sight without over cluttering or reducing the chunkiness of the geometry, testing out two lifts, one on each side, and a two way teleporter that goes between the bottom front to the upper back of the map. I've tested a couple games with the current blockout and it's still got a way to go but it felt good and the feed back was positive, so against all the arguing over judging, and even if I don't win, I'll still have a final product I'm happy with.
yeah 'none' is between the DMR and the energy sword or something --- Double Post Merged, Aug 25, 2017 --- what we doing for spawns, 5 seconds or 3? suicide penalties?
I already have 3 themes and layouts ready to go and 1 map almost ready for publishing and testing. I know I am not the best forger ans my stuff ia somewhat controversial... but hopefully my layouts introduce a new way to play!
Why not $500, $300, $200? Ah whatever **** it. I'm never touching that cash. I'm aiming for round 2. That's my goal.
Occasional yearly lurker here and person who has no clue what so ever. When time comes for someone to submit their map, is it done here on this thread or via a tag on their map?
Post your map like normal, then post in this thread with all of the information requested in the 'Submission Guidelines' listed in the first post.
Something to think about: Depth. Take No Ceilings, which has as little depth as possible: I wouldn't bother submitting a map like that, unless it revolves around a very interesting concept. You are much better off submitting maps that have depth, and offer intelligent decision-making to be a large element of its gameplay, as opposed to sheer skill. Simpler layouts will be easier to pull off, but more intricate layouts will be more interesting and have more variety in their encounters. Something to consider.
Can you all create the actual game mode you will be using and create a link to it to ensure that all players understand and use the same game mode when creating their maps.
I made one but i cant get it to show up on waypoint... i dont know why. Its visible in my bookmarks. "Forgehub 1v1"
