it's mostly a cute reference to the episode, but quite frankly I think it could serve as a decoy or something, toss it around to confuse the other player, maybe? it's obviously not a key feature of the map if it were possible to weld it to a small boulder and make that tossable it would be even better, but I don't think that's possible --- Double Post Merged, Aug 24, 2017 --- oh **** just had an idea - make a scriptable overshield that turns you into the Gorn - lowers movement speed/reload speed , melee lock-on.... would be cool maybe put it where the plasma pistol is and just get rid of the other powerups? idk also would have to make weapon pickups impossible, or remove all pickups or something like that so that you can't get shotgun and gorn mode - but then again, if you're moving slower it may not be an issue
I'm going to try something I just thought of related to the ball/rock thingy... will report back when it likely fails lol
https://www.forgehub.com/maps/gravitas.5588/ it's out will be submitted to contest officially in a minute or two, though I don't want to be the first in the gates
"and YOU get an opinion! AND YOU get an opinion! EVERYONE IN THE AUDIENCE GETS AN OPINIIOOOOOOOOON!" --- Double Post Merged, Aug 24, 2017 --- STORM THE GAAAATES --- Double Post Merged, Aug 24, 2017 --- Or a Microsoft joke. Kekeke, gates
In my head icyhot and querb are the same person I don't even know which is which It used to be like that for yevah and yekkou lol
I need a noob soon who tells me my layout is awesome so I can art it up. Also, I hope I can nail this theme.
Honestly once career was talking in a party and I swore it was you until he said something about death pits being bad
Alright so for the first time ever I'm forging a map for a contest. In this case, its the 1v1 Contest, so this should be a good chance to get back into forging. On the contest I saw some people directed here for playtesting. I have my map at a good level of progress for playtesting, so I thought I'd see if anybody here could lend a hand. Not entirely sure how this works. Do people usually play with the creator or amongst themselves and then report back any criticisms? I'm totally open for either. I guess I'll leave the map here for those interested. Heres the map: Observatory
Both is fine, But I find it best to play them yourself initiall so you can determine if the map is meeting any of your expectations. Also finding someone else who wants to playtest there map helps because you can alternate maps. Just collect gamertags and see if anyone here is online
And if all else fails, we have our most recent lobbies listed in our most current "weekly update" on our home page
Okay so Multi just moved my entire map closer to the water and we did some seriously cool looking ****. It's sloppy as hell but I'll post a walk-through later. For now, just imagine a goat concept that actually plays good and will get finished
I always wondered how you all got that mixed up. That was until I just realized icyhot and querb isn't the same person.
