We're pushing for something close to HCS settings for the tournament portion of this so that it will be accessible to most H5 players, however radar will be removed for obvious reasons.
Need to clear up wording. Are people who may have won previous contests eligible to enter this one? Restricting them doesnt make sense given the smaller community at this stage, so that needs to be more explicitly stated.
I think this is an extremely important point to elaborate on, one that should have been included in the official contest announcement. What gametype settings should creators build there map around? They deserve concrete settings to work around. Wether or not ARs are primarys or not, for example; can drasticly change the way a map plays and what weapons they will decide to set up on them.
Yes, absolutely. I don't see any reason to restrict anyone from participating in this contest. You can be in any region, country, demographic or age. All are welcome to compete. EDIT: I agree, the language is currently misleading. I'll take care of that for Ascend, thanks for letting us know.

@Soldat Du Christ and judges - Have you any thought as to how you plan on organizing this contest? Are you comfortable providing transparency throughout the process so that the community can follow along? Will you be streaming these events? Any conversations as to the level of organization you wish to bring to this? Now that the contest is released, this is a good time to start hammering out these details. I'm already disqualified. I'm not sure I'm capable of making a small scale 1v1 map. Everything I make turns out HUGE.
