anyone on PC should know about this if you don't yet (I didn't) I should add that there is a neat set of lighting balls you can use on your maps, which is in Forge if you activate the 343i forge menu in Exuberant. They are used by the devs to see how lighting is reflecting off of various types of surfaces. It is a single object, so it is not able to be grouped with itself and saved as a prefab - but I just realized while typing this I may be able to go home and try to group this with something else and save it for you non PC haver-ers. Don't get your hopes up, though. There may be a built in restriction on that.
Cant fix what started out broken. The stair layout is obviously one inch off from the left side. As a carpenter, it pains me to see so much finish work go over a **** up like this. I'm sure this could translate into a forge lesson, but I'm not going there tonight.
I'm making progress. Very slowly. Also, I found more inspiration. I'm definitely going to try and implement that golden lighting coming from inside some of the structures.
@icyhotspartin Walked around on your map 'Sketched' last night, and it's honestly one of my favorite maps of all time. It's super weird.
Here's my latest theme guys. I want to improve the lighting on this map so that harsh reflections are reduced, but it's on the dark and shiny side so that may be a challenge for my mediocre lighting abilities.
update on Gravitas: no new screens, those will come later today weapons have been rebalanced, pickups rebalanced, spawns potentially fixed... weapons now include: - gunfighter - smg projection - brute plasma (75%) - might replace with another smg - many grenades, only one splinter - sniper at base level - shotgun on rooftop ledge -- shotgun/sniper spawns swapped - SPNKr Prime on floating stone - 2 damage boosts, one on bottom ventlift, one on slatted overhang 3rd level - 2 speed boosts, one on 3rd level broken walkway, one in-between slatted tower and rock formation - 1 overshield, on mid landingpad to be played with 2 second spawns, no suicide time penalty (because massive death pits) powerups and weapons tuned to 50-70 second respawns, all with 0 spare clips optional classic sight, 1 clip BR starts also works with 2v2, oddball, CTF ****ing crazy gameplay come at me with your balancing concerns *edit* also potential to play on classic or H3 settings, though may need to retune the low-G jumping zone for that - similar crazy gameplay, but it makes the map feel bigger, plays more tactically *edit 2* oh! I forgot! art update - skybox changed back to morning, blue/green process - it now has snow that works interior and exterior, it's brilliant, beautiful, trust me
