For what it's worth, I don't think Halo 5 needs anymore bloody two base/two tower maps in matchmaking, particualy one made for extermination first and 2v2 second.
"Because, you know, temp bans are suuuuuuuch a big deal rolls eyes" - Secret Squirrel Lmao I'm dying --- Double Post Merged, Aug 13, 2017 --- Real talk I'm hopping on to work out more of "Torsion" Who wants to party? :chalkdust:
Just causally observing a lot of the sounds I hear in combat when I play Reach. I just realized that when you take a heap of damage and your shield brakes (from say a grenade for instance) your Spartan yells as an indication, and I've been using it the same way we use grenade hitmarkers nowadays. Like I know a lot of people hate sound-whoring but it's such a simple way to make the situation better. It's kind of funny when you realize that the thing that Waypoint-kid was comparing to IRL was already done in a past game lmao. On a somewhat related note, remember when Spartans actually yelled and screamed when they were shot in the face, blown up, thrown off a cliff, ran over, etc.
<---- Title I feel ya man. --- Double Post Merged, Aug 13, 2017 --- I'm too lazy to read the cluster**** that must've been the past 5 or so pages, can somebody that's not on a hormonal alpha male high give me the gist of who's the good guy and who's the bad guy
im officially in the 'i dont play halo or forge anymore infact im not really playing much videogames rn' mode now apparently, and have been for about a month. its a weird place, and ive been eating a lot more fruits. I guess you could ask me... What are you working on? and i guess i would have to say... myself. I am working on myselflessthanthree
I've been there for a good 6 months at least probably more. Matter of fact I have maybe done about 3 hours of forging total since the 2v2 contest ended. Yeah that one we did back when H5 released? Yep that's the one.
Looking at getting a 24' 1440p monitor (24 inch bc where my monitor sits is much too close for a 27'). Kind of want to go for the IPS panel instead of a TN for the colour accuracy, but conflicted because of response time/refresh rates. Anyone here have any experience with monitors in this smaller 1440p range?
I have this one: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236453 I picked it up black friday 2015 for 275$, even at its current price I would still recommend it. (but you could probably get it somewhere else for cheaper) I would get a second one if I had the desk space for it lol As for the refresh rate, I couldnt even tell a difference compared to my TN panel which I hated for its shitty color. Dont even worry about it unless you take your esports very seriously.
Ta Da! Really glad I didn't give up on this layout back when it was going to be a stone and wood docks sea village. A lot of cool lines of sight opened up when I replaced the solid ramps with the lockout-styled ones (you know the ones that are part grate). The sniper area looks like it could be a cool place to break a top mid set up, as well as the "house" in the basement actually being a power position. The light bridges are in now too, and a switch at the bottom will turn them off and on (effectively cutting off the most powerful route between bases). Hows my progress coming along? What's your favorite part so far? Which part deserves the label of DOG? Criticize me, Cap'n
I can't seem to find anyone in AUS stocking this monitor (on the models less than 27') which is a shame. Not even ASUS seem to here :O. I will probably settle for this, https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824014593 The ASUS alternative that's the same price looks sleeker (the bezel on ASUS are so thin!) but the stand on the BenQ is more functional and actually has a display port as well.
