    4v4 Multi Bomb is stupid for the same reason Multi Flag is, and in neutral bomb, it just gets hidden in small gametypes. There's no algorithm that can deduce a passive play from holding the objective to reset the bomb, and I'm not going to ever insinuate that holding onto the bomb while you have the lead is a legitimate strategy.

    Halo just doesn't have any good symmetric gametypes for 4-8 players, which is why Halo should stop trying to force symmetric gameplay.

    A symmetric 2v2 map is cool if it's played asymmetric along the off line of symmetry. But playing 4v4 that way may as well just be an asym because the maps are too large for it to still be quaint. And the only reason to play symmetric 4v4 maps is to play symmetric gametypes, which brings me back to the fact that there are no good symmetric gametypes.

    1 flag, 1 bomb, and 1 site extraction are all asymmetric gametypes that are not in Halo 5

    That's what I liked about my H3 map "Ephasus". When playing CTF the teams start spawn was in foundrys locker rooms and the flag they had to pull was in the opposite corner. So it was like an X style gameplay where teams met in the middle instead of the objective being in the bases straight across from each other. Like if you look at a top down view of foundry, red started in the bottom right corner and had to steal the blue flag from the top left corner and blue started in the Bottom left corner and had to steal the red flag from top right. It was an interesting twist from the norm imo. There was a base style structure in each corner and different bases were utilized in different game types as well as symmetric and asymmetric games. Back then you were allowed to place flags and returns in different areas tho. Good thing we are so advanced now.

    I don't really care about game types and most halo players don't. I'm just really proud of how well 343i has done with applying the Halo lore to the sandbox. Its great to see the UNSC ACTUALLY using all the covenant tech to improve old human tech. Take the energy bayonet for instance, bungle would never have put something so logical and BAD ASSS in their games. Energy is the logical material to replace metallic substances for bayonets for a couple reasons.

    Lets take a look at this beauty, and then Ill list a few of its vastly improved benefits.

    1) It doesn't rust or degrade. Meaning soldiers can spend more time kicking ass with it and less time polishing and sanding it. (what a bore!)
    2)It doesn't throw off the weight of the gun and keeps it at a better center of mass ratio which allows for a clean follow through when taking out baddies. Also, it's less weight for the soldiers to carry allowing them to tote extra ammo in the weights absence.
    3) It can be turned on and off at will, creating a safer environment for fellow soldiers and reducing the amount of time required to pull it out of an enemies spleen. (wont get caught on a ribcage)
    4)Heated Plasma is hot and punctures flesh with extreme ease, creating a more lethal and efficient bayonet.

    Youd be perfect for it @Dweeb

    I know its just a remake of a not so popular map, but I feel like if I updated purporbital It could be potentially be the best looking cove map in the game. I have about 300 hard objects to spend on it + any number of visible boundaries. Its a remake tho, so don't really wanna invest in that. What sort of map were you thinking? Original design 2v2? Sym 4v4?

    I think an enclosed linear 2v2 layout is likely the best approach to making the sexiest looking covie map possible.

    Bladerunner has the potential to be with the automatic doors in certain spots. Goat messed around with the colors and atmosphere and it was amazing. Like straight out of high charity. But he won't do it cause he hates me. But purporbital is as of now. I would do it but ppl can do way better so I won't waste my time. As for as layout I don't really know. Player count doesn't matter but perhaps a sym or a sym skeleton type map
