The destruction of brain cells is a m00t point when you consider the mylenation of stoner pathways while under the influence I have new map to show off soon hooray And qqqrrbrbrbrbrlrrbll I'll get some prefabs going your way --- Double Post Merged, Jun 16, 2017 --- It's all true
sometimes i feel like i've walked into a middle school cafeteria and this is where the 7th grade social outcasts sit.
I've decided that chatting in forums is like playing a really **** video game. As much as you want to stop you can't help but wonder how **** it'l get.
So Multi sends you a random conversation between me and him and you felt compelled to publicly post about it because...
I like forging small and cozy symmetric maps. From an architectural standpoint, they feel like temples and arenas reminiscent of gladiator battles, and working with a symmetric template allows you to think of asymmetry in a different fashion. I don't like two bases when they're straight across because I think that's too rigid of a template in most cases. As for Flag, yea I think running from your side of the map to the other team's side of the map to stop a flag is sloppy in 4v4. It feels forced. In Halo 5, I think 4v4 flag has to be contestable almost immediately off spawn, otherwise it wont work. Flag feels better to me when there's a struggle to get the flag out of the base, and then a struggle to catch it. Chasing after the flag because you wont see it if it passes the point of no return is boring to me. Sure, you can catch up to the flag faster in Halo 5, but they aren't enough players to fight the other team and stop the objective simultaneously, which is why I don't think flag or assault belong in 4v4 to begin with. Most of the successful flag maps follow very rigid formulas and I don't think the faster movement improves the gametype significantly enough to change that. Of course it'd be nice to have simple discussions like this to pick each other's brains like how Multi and I have done recently. But I guess shitposting is still in fashion.
Assault is better in general because the objective is on YOUR spawn which solves a lot of problems in contesting the objective. Neutral assault is even better because there's only one objective
Definitely. The only reason flag is so popular imo is the flag running mechanic releases dopamine into our brains
