That means I'd have to start buying COD games again. Tell them to get rid of the juggalo skinz and its a deal
Yeah Jordan packs a lot of information into his speaking style. It can be hard to listen to sometimes. Post-modernism is basically Marxism disguised as a progressive ideology. Marxism promotes and facilitates class warfare, and after about 50 years of death and destruction caused by this belief, it had to be "reformed" as warfare between races and genders or oppressed/oppressors instead of class. It all stems from the fundamental belief that the only way to look at the world is through the lense of a power structure, which is to suggest that all human behavior can be boiled down to an unconscious need to gain power.
So this is the one I'm just about finished with. Note that there is an aesthetic direction, I want to evoque something specific and meaningful. There is also a conscious effort to make it at least somewhat playable. Lighting isn't generated, for better visibility. I'll get to the postmodernist one in a second.
Yeah let's leave it at this. I vote social-democratic in a different country on a different continent. Socialism comes from Marxism but I don't have the will and energy to dive into the subject. We usually disagree on almost everything except Multi's forge maps so maybe I'm more 'postmodern' than you think I will read some more about the subject tommorow.
I'm still waiting for a melting pot of isms to emerge. Little bits and pieces from many ideologies that combine to make a super sweet Megazord. Then again I haven't done any serious reading in the last handful of years
I'm online now if anyone wants to join for a match of Postmodernism on Postmodern Playground - come have a ball!
I could not imagine any dev at 343 doing this. --- Double Post Merged, Jun 9, 2017 --- Uh... no... not realistic. But if by strange chance things go north for halo, I be back.
I've gotten food poisoning from drinking too much eggnog. Apparently 5 gallons in 10 days is a no no --- Double Post Merged, Jun 9, 2017 --- I meant more along the lines of seeing what halo looks like through our eyes for inspiration, not straight ripping (lol proteam reference)
"God bless us, everyone! " - Timothy Cratchit Aka"Tiny Tim", from the 1843 novella A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens
Feel free to rip and pull whatever you'd like from the map for inspiration however I'm not sure the layout would be the best for COD as it seems most COD maps are designed with SND as a major influencer and I put abosultey no thought into the layout from a COD perspective. Also, the map got deleted. Unsolvable framerate issues this time around not a mental breakdown EDIT: The map Combine from BO3 is probably the closest too it design wise and even still thats a stretch. Possibly could be compared to Nuketown as well. Reason I list these maps is the focus an route feeding into the central atrium. Which is a similar theme with Departure.
