If jetpack was mapped to A so that holding the jump button turned it on, and you had a thrusting ability on top of it, I think the game would be sick. **** Sprint and Clamber.
Meh, wasn't that bad. Sad thing is I haven't played halo or any shooter for that matter in so long I probably couldn't do it anymore.
I have broken so many Xbox controllers using bumper jumper. That LB button isn't constructed to withstand Bumper Jumper.
I don't like to **** on 343 too much... but they could use some better map designers. Almost all of H5's maps were forgettable and blah. Think of it this way: when a Halo game has more memorable forge maps than what the developers are cooking up it tells you two things, forge is getting really good and 343 is getting really bad (at creating memorable Halo maps). Oh and jetpacks will always be terrible and have no place in this series.
Seriously though **** the thruster pack. Completely breaks any amount of design that goes into man cannons. And yes, it breaks them. Because if you don't want people thrusting off of the man cannon, you have to not put a man cannon there. Worst Halo bar none.
That's why I bought an elite. I figured I've got through what, 4 Xbox one remotes since launch? The elite is actually saving me a lot of money I should've bought it earlier.
Few things to know. 1: the outside build is nice but the moving parts are the same shitty construction of a normal controller so don't be surprised when it gets slow turn after 2 months (buy it from best buy with their insurance thing ) 2: be a man and leave all 4 paddles on when you get it on default map (abxy) and the right extended thumbstick. It's gonna suck for a week but trust me, just do it 3: you'll never be able to use a normal remote ever again
