I think all games are "easier" just because mouse and keyboard have pretty much no barriers. However, the important thing to highlight is how much higher the skill ceiling is considering the nearly unlimited control on pc.
I always felt mouse and keyboard felt more exact and technical, and less fluid and natural. Plus I hate how you have to build a stage to play your games. I'd rather lean back on the couch with a controller. RTS games are probably the only game I feel the opposite about. I've kind of always wanted to build an extremely large wall mounted Plexiglas case. I liked the idea of seeing the components spread out in all their geeky glory. I would use cool looking parts and put all kinds of accent lights in there. Then two weeks later I would lose my ****ing mind with how huge and bright the bloody thing was, and smash it to pieces. So it's probably best I don't.
Corsairs new style is tacky as hell. they put loads of LED's on everything they possibly could. I built my pc without any lights and would do it again 100% next time. I think LED's can look good if they are used as accents and not the center of attention. Problem is very few builds I see are actually capable of doing that.
Nope. Never heard if it. --- Double Post Merged, May 31, 2017 --- There's no sprint in the game. Though I believe there's a plan to have options of abilities like that in customs. Don't think that's priority by any means.
Overwatch aiming on console is garbage first of all. And with mouse Precision and ample auto aim obviously the game will feel easy, it doesn't have much technical skill outside of genji mcree pharah and captain America
Only 2% of PC players can even use Widowmaker right. People using Widow need to have a 75% or higher accuracy and a 25+ elim for each match in order to actually be a help for the team. Also, widow has the smallest hitboxes to snipe against. The reason Hanzo is far better is because his arrows act more light redwood tree trunks being flung at enemies because of the ridiculous hitbox on them. You should include her on the list. I've gotta ask; by 'ample auto aim,' do you mean generous hitboxes? The only character that I know of that STILL has physics defying auto aim is Mei's friCKEN ICICLE SHOTS FOR F**K SAKE FIX THIS SH*T BLIZZARD!!! Fun Fact: the top 500 players is filled with Mercy and Reinhardt mains. Roadhog has been changed recently to have 33% less damage and 30% fast fire rate, so he's been brought into line with the play style intended for him.
I'd argue Tracer has the highest skill ceiling(DPS Only. Zen, Ana, and Lucio have the highest skill ceiling imo, but I'll get to that later.). Sure there are a lot of good Tracers but you really only see certain players that truly make a huge impact on the hero. For example: Soon and Effect. Soon is probably the best but there are not a lot of Tracers that get the value they do. Also, sticking a pulse bomb to a squishy is only really done consistently by Soon which is one of the reasons he is considered the best Tracer in the world. There are other Tracers that one clip enemies and manage cooldowns as well or better than he does but no one gets as much value out of their pulse bombs. Also the game takes plenty of technical skill it is just you can't just get by with it like you can in almost every other shooter. You get punished for playing selfishly. Which is awesome imo. Also, there is a pretty common misunderstanding of skill floor vs. skill ceiling in all games. Tracer being a prime example of this. Another example would be Lucio especially since his last rework.
Yeah that's definitely not true. Tracers movement is insanely easy to use, pulse bomb is brain dead, and she has ****ing spray weapons. The only things that takes skill is close range tracking and short term cooldown awareness.
In addition to what Tyrant said: Pharah. There's a reason everything revolves around Mangachu on his team. At least when I watched. A really good Pharah is rare.
