Exactly, Genji ult is dumb because of dash resets. I have been playing him a ton lately and the number of POTG I get increased like crazy. I mean I do the same type of **** with reaper ult but don't get POTG's. BS

@purely fat I posted this in another chat today so I'll just share here Let me state the obvious: I'm salty they changed Dva. Read, changed. Dva is the reason I bought Overwatch. I remember downloading the beta, booting it up, and immediately hating how everyone either looked or played. In retrospect, I was simply looking at the within the context of training mode so I didn't know how anyone ended up playing on the battlefield, which is why I've since expanded my choices to other characters. But the minute I picked Dva and flew around the training level, I was hooked. When I took her into the PvP modes, I literally couldn't put the game down. It was one of the most fun gaming experiences I can recall ever having. Dva was perfect to me on launch. I liked how she did enough damage to assist people and had enough armor and health to win fights on her own. I obviously wanted her to do more damage but I was content playing her as is. When they said they were gonna buff her, I was excited because I figured that I'd be more viable. But man, was I mistaken. Aside from the change to her self destruct, which was so easy to avoid at launch, I don't like the buffs in retrospect. Because they changed Dva from the nuisance who could fly in, do some damage and then fly out, to the nuisance who flies in, blocks damage and then flies out. And I obviously agree that once they did that, she became way too ridiculous that they had to nerf her. But Blizzard chose to nerf the original way of playing her in favor of the new way, and this is part of what turned me off of the game. I dislike how her utility now is less about her DPS and ability to scatter enemies and more about her blocking. Like, look at it in the context of this fight: Say I go up against a player, a Repear perhaps. At launch, Dva would hop around while doing damage and then block some of Repear's critical shots before continuing to fight. Then she'd speed away, grab health, and come back to battle. But right now since Dva is squishier, having more health than armor, I spend less time shooting and more time blocking, which draws out the encounter and makes Dva more susceptible to being team shot. Conversely, by making Dva more based around blocking, she tends to sit closer to the group than she did before. I'm aware that the changes ultimately make her more effective in a team scenario, but it goes without saying that I preferred her when she was able to hold her own more effectively. So I'm aware that she doesn't "suck", she just plays different, and I don't like it when games remove the playstyle I enjoy. Same reason I fell out of love with Destiny once Bungie nerfed the way I played the game. Like I said, I have other characters I like choosing but none of them hook me the way launch Dva did. It's not every day you can play someone in a giant flying mech. Anyway, that's my Overwatch salt on one reason the game no longer grabs my attention personally. My other problems with the repetitive multiplayer and ugly skins are just more salt in the wound. I like payload and control, but the maps I keep playing are always the ones where my first like 4 choices are either ineffective or already taken.
I'm a heavy D.va player too and when they made the most recent changes to her I felt the same way. I didn't play her at all for a few weeks because I felt they nerfed her so much that she wasn't even a viable hero to choose. It took a little getting used to, but I've since regained my ability to do really well with her in a playstyle that really isn't much different. She is a tank after all though, so it doesn't bother me much that they made her a little more focused on staying with the team and blocking damage and taking fire away from your squishy teammates. Give her another shot. I felt the same way as you a couple months ago. You just need to change your playstyle to be not quite as aggressive. She used to be so good that you could run into a crowd of enemies alone, get a pick or two, and fly out basically unharmed. You have to admit that's a little unbalanced. They made it so you can't do that as easily, and unless you have backup or a good escape route, you're going to be rightfully punished for being too aggressive. This is a team-focused game if I've ever seen one, and I don't see Blizzard's treatment of D.va as bad as you do. She's still quite different from the other tanks, maybe only Winston is similar in playstyle to her.
